The apartment is located on the second floor of a quiet building, situated less than 200 metres from the city centre of Sorrento and Corso Italia. Its strategic location makes it ideal for those who want to go to the sea, both to Marina Grande and to Regina Giovanna, one of the most beautiful in Sorrento, but also for those who do not want to give up the centrality without being disturbed by the noise of the historic centre.



APARTMENT DETAILS:

The apartment has been completely renovated and has a large living room with a double sofa bed, an American kitchen with high stools, equipped with an induction hob, fridge, microwave, sink and essentials. A table for six with leather armchairs and a small balcony with a garden view. The house also has an equipped veranda with a laundry tub and washing machine.

The house has 3 bedrooms:

BEDROOM 1: double bed with large wardrobe, window and air conditioning.

BEDROOM 2: two single beds with wardrobe and air conditioning.

BEDROOM 3: bedroom with king size bed, large wardrobe, window, air conditioning and en-suite bathroom.

Second fully equipped bathroom with toilet, bidet, shower and sink.

The house has Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning and a flat screen TV.



CHECK IN INFO:

All guests must provide an identity document upon arrival.

CHECK IN: 2pm to 7.30pm

CHECK OUT: by 10am

Please note that check-in after 8pm has an additional cost of €30.

The tourist tax amounts to €4.00 per person per night for the first 7 nights, to be paid in cash upon arrival.

Host was welcoming and helpful with the check in process. Home seemed much larger and fresher online. Just felt a little dingy. Hot water went out for one day and after going back and forth with property manager we could not figure the reset switch which she said was near the boiler. They sent someone the next day and it is apparently a switch near the coffee pot. You might want to add that to check in details as it is very easy to turn that switch off. Label the switch.

The property listing is accurate, but the rooms are very small. The property manager was very responsive and quick to respond with help on tours and recommendations. There was an issue with the ac the first night ( the units in two rooms were not working), but they quickly sent a repairman the next day and who was able to repair both. It was a nice surprise to have cold drinks and snacks waiting for us upon check-in (it was a hot day). Luca, who checked us in, was very pleasant, but if you haven't rented in Italy before, it's an in-person process, so you have to meet up with someone to physically provide you with the keys, which requires coordination. This was not a problem, but different from renting a vacation property in the US.We would stay at this property again.

The apartment had a good central location, just a few steps from the citycenter. Unfortunately, the stay was unbearable and unacceptable due todaily, extreme construction noise in the building from early morning untilevening. The cause was the gutting of an apartment using jackhammers andother heavy tools.Despite multiple complaints, in which we also repeatedly sent audio files asevidence to the agency, Estate4Home did not respond at all and certainly didnot provide a solution, such as an alternative apartment. We found thiscomplete disregard of our problem particularly outrageous andunprofessional.Additionally, there were technical defects which, however, hardly mattered in view of the noise disturbance: a toilet flush did not work, and a sink was clogged. Furthermore, two advance payments of the travel price caused problems due to a technical error on the agency's part, which could only be resolved by telephone intervention.Unfortunately, our vacation became a nightmare for three adults due to theunbearable noise disturbance. In the meantime, we have informed FewoDirekt about the issues but have not yet received any response.

This was a solid place to stay in Sorrento, excellent and very central location, great communication with our host liaison Francisco. Could have improved cleanliness and one of the rooms (called the kids room was quite small with two tiny beds and would not fit two teens or adults) so they should update the listing to five people max, could also improve cleanliness/do a thorough clean as lots of dust under the mattresses and some crevices. There was also some construction on the first floor but that seemed to be intermittent. Otherwise solid stay!

L' onda viola

Family of 4 staying in L' onda viola for a week. Apartment airconditioned with good facilities (kitchen, fridge/freezer etc). Bedrooms a little small but fine for our family. Best thing about the apartment is location - right next to the centre and in walking distance of all facilities. Numerous supermarkets nearby as well as restaurants. Booking agent assisted with a few trips - Capri and cost tour - all went well.

Wonderful Gem in Sorrento

We stayed for 5 nights; myself and two 20 year old sons. Great option so everyone could have their own space! The managers were very helpful in assisting with booking tours. Our arrival was delayed due to flights, Amedeo was waiting for us on our arrival. He was extremely helpful getting us settled, making suggestions for restaurants and meeting places. He called and got us a reservation at Donna Sofia which was wonderful-highly recommend! He was extremely responsive when we had questions. The location was perfect for us, within a short walking distance to train station and the main pedestrian area. Overall a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend!!

Great location, close to all major restaurants, shopping and beaches. The apartment was very clean (no bed bugs) and had everything we needed for our stay. Typical of most places, hot water was limited, but we are used to traveling in Europe. Host did her best to respond to our questions.

Wonderful home and host!

The apartment was clean and spacious just like the photos! Location was perfect, close to the main shopping and restaurants but not noisy. There are grocery stores and a laundromat right around the corner. Valerie our host was amazing. She was very helpful with the check-in process and had great recommendations on restaurants and transportation, even booking our tour of Capri! We had a little trouble with the power during our stay and she was incredibly quick to respond and fix the issue. I will absolutely stay again on our next trip to Sorrento

The apartment was in a good location and had enough space for 3 adults to move around. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were quite small, with barely enough room for a suitcase. The wifi was strong and was able to handle several devices at one time.

Excellent Sorrento apartment location

Excellent location in Sorrento. Smooth and easy check~in and check out of the apartment. The apartment is as described, beautiful, spacious, stocked with all amenities. A group of (5) and the apartment is spacious for all. Having a washer machine was a bonus. Walking distance to the city center. Lots of great recommendations of restaurants and site tours. Our on-site manager, Valerio was excellent assistance during our stay (tours scheduling, cabs and restaurants recommendation). I highly recommend L’Onda Viola apartment. I look forward to visiting Sorrento in the future and definitely would stay again.
