Le site est bien aménagé et bien entretenu. Les chambres sont vétustes, mais elles sont propres et bien équipées. La propriétaire est gentille et accueillante. Étant dans une période hors saison, nous étions les seuls hébergés. Nous avons adoré la tranquillité de cet endroit qui est situé devant une rivière. Malgré quelques points négatifs, nous recommandons cet endroit.

Bel emplacement. Séjour agréable. Chambre désuète.
L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter la péninsule de Brucee et profiter de Sauble Beach. L'aménagement extérieur est très agréable et le prêt d'embarcation sans moteur est un gros plus. Les jeunes filles à l'accueil étaient toutes très gentilles et serviables. Le gros point négatif est le manque d'amour apporté à la chambre: vieux tapis, vieux meubles, vieux couvre-lit, matelas peu confortable (on a l'impression d'être dans un lit d'eau). Bien que la chambre était propre, l'état défraîchi donnait l'impression que ce n'était pas le cas. Il ne marquerait pas grand chose pour améliorer ce petit hôtel: enlever le tapis, une peinture fraîche, une nouvelle literie et un peu de déco. Et de vraies fleurs à l'extérieur :-)

Our room smelt musty. The blankets had holes in them. It was just not a nice place to stay. It is right on the river and a short drive to beach and falls, so that is the draw. But rooms could use an update for sure!

Will not stay here again
We stayed for 3-night weekend which includes the non-motorized sport equipment. We came a little early at 2:30 and we were told that we can only take equipment from 10AM to 3PM, and return by 5PM. This left us with only 30 minutes for bringing in our stuff to the rooms, get changed and ran to take the kayaks & canoes. Had we come at 3PM, we would have had no time to get the toys. The next day, we went to the Grotto from 11 to 4PM. We had the early morning and the whole evening, but we could not use them. In the summer, early morning and evening would be the best time to to explore the beautiful river. The day after, we stayed the whole day at the resort so we can at least enjoy a little bit. My uncle tried out the 4-person boat and found out that it wasn't easy to navigate so he wanted to change to the kayak. The owner told him that he had to wait 1 hour before he could use another one. My niece was scolded because she took too long to apply the sunscreen. Charlene took her lifejacket back and told her to come back after she finished with the sunscreen. The last day, we had to check out by 11AM, so again we could not use it because they only open at 10AM. Besides that, there were many other rules that really make us feel unwelcomed, and the owner's rude attitude ruined our trip a bit. The pro is the perfect location. River right at the door & beautiful beach within walking distance. I would still come to the area, but definitely will not stay at this place again.

Wonderful place to relax for a weekend. Watching nature in the mornings while having breakfast outside is magical. Be aware that if you have other noisy guests you are likely to hear them or their footsteps if you are in a bottom-level unit. Unfortunately, during the first weekend of May, the water was deemed too cold to allow the use of kayaks and canoes, but that was OK.

We were greeted with kindness and felt comfortable right away. Absolutely beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Comfy room that was just right. Sat on the dock right outside our window watching the fish jumping, birds , river. Enveloped in peace. Couldn’t ask for more.

Our room overlooked the marina . We enjoyed sitting outside and having our tea . However , boats were not available as the season was over . We did not know that . Also the tap water was " rusty water " which had a salty taste . Luckily we had carried bottled water which we used for tea / coffee .

Nice getaway
It was a relaxing visit. Friendly owners and nice location with the lake being right out our front door. The beds were a little hard the first night, but the second night it felt better. Only issue we had was there’s a room above us and it was very loud with the kids running back and forth and just being loud. After everyone went to bed it was enjoyable and as for the next night it wasn’t as bad. Great night out at the fire pit. Would recommend as a nice place to go.

We loved staying here! The room was very comfortable and very accommodating. There are water activities available on site and it's just a short walk to the beach. Fast, Friendly service with that feeling of home, cozy. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Staff was friendly and helpful. They suggested some trails nearby since my husband and I love to go on walks. So glad we went. Beautiful views at spirit rock trails. We also were able to use their bikes and kayaks which were included since we stayed two nights. We had a memorable stay. Thank you!

Great view of the river. With hubby and two kids, we did Kayaks & Canoe and paddled to the Falls, amazing experience. So peaceful on the river. Room ok. First night was fine but second night we were all disturbed with the room upstairs where the people were talking, walking till very late and very early morning may be 6.00 a.m they were still walking and talking. We were all disturbed with the noise. Apart from this all were perfect!

Last weekend i stayed at Sauble River Marina & Lodge Resort with my family, we were so amazed with the quality of service, kindness, and the amazing view of the river. The 3 bedroom suite felt like a real cottage experience, the rooms the beds, toilets, kitchen everything was clean, the BBQ was great specially facing the lake, also the great package that was included in your stay, and the fireplace outside was wonders. Ken and Sharlene amazing people plus the staff, they made us feel very welcomed and my little guy was the happiest in all. We got the best out of this place as much as we can for the two nights we stayed. Definitely looking forward for my second trip, we were so relaxed, and i definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to go somewhere peaceful for couple of days after this covid craziness, this is your place. Thank you!

We love the place❤️❤️❤️!!! To wake up with the view of Sauble river and the sound of nature is awesome. The rooms are very clean and the kitchen amenities made our stay comfortable. The beach is a 3minute walk while Sauble Falls is a 20 minute walk. Lots of trails to enjoy a sunny day and totally unwind.

It’s fantastic that the fee includes free use of kayaks, peddle boats and other watercraft. I also liked the private bbq and fire pit that came with our two-bedroom suite. The only negative was that the mattress on the pullout sofa bed was very old and not able to sleep on.
