Fun Family Getaway

Property is as advertised. Enjoyed the chef's kitchen and game room/spa/sauna. Wished there had been more snow but no control over mother nature. No TV's in bedrooms, so plan accordingly. Very quiet and dark when sun sets. A little rigging on the child gate for the stairs was needed. but was effective for the toddlers. Great place overall!

Family Vacay

It was the perfect space for our family vacation. We enjoyed our time, took turns cooking dinner each night in the kitchen and had plenty of space to hang out. The sauna and hot tub were also a big hit!

Wonderful Property

We had an amazing time during our one week stay. The property was beautiful. Carpets were soiled in master and downstairs bedroom but otherwise everything was wonderful.

Great Tahoe house

Overall, we had a great experience at this house. The house is great for a large family - we enjoyed the spacious kitchen and amenities like the hot tub and sauna. The house could have done with a bit of extra furnishing - for example, there was not a lot of lounge seating/couch space for a house of this size, there was only one towel per person (with no extras for the hot tub), and there were no flashlights when the power went out during a storm. Besides these points, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful spacious home, perfectly roomy for our group of 9.

Our family group of 9 enjoyed our short summer week at the Pioneer Trail house, we wish we could've stayed longer! The upstairs kitchen, dining and living room had plenty of space where we weren't on top of each other....more than enough room for multiple cooks in the kitchen. Amazing Thermador range can easily accommodate a large menu. The pool table and arcade games kept the fun going when we weren't exploring the outdoors. Loved the sauna as well! The house has no A/C and if left closed up during the day could get stuffy, but owners provided plenty of fans to cool things down. Beautiful finishes throughout. Beds comfortable. Very clean upon arrival.
