Important Info → Our home is unfortunately not pet friendly so please leave your pups at home. → Even though our home is on the Truckee river, there is short walk through the brush to get there. → Like most homes in Tahoe, this home does not have AC. If coming during July or August, it can get into the high 80s but we do provide fans. → After you book, you will be asked to sign a rental agreement. → The total occupancy does not include small children - extra kids under 5 are welcome. → Our home was a 5-star rental for many years. While we re-grow our review base, please be kind :) → In the Winter months, we recommend all vehicles have AWD/4WD. → The fireplace at our home is wood burning but the flue system is a bit complicated so please read the instructions carefully before use. Guests are responsible for any smoke damage to our home resulting from the misuse of our fireplace. → Our home does not have central heat or air. We have electric baseboard heating which takes a bit to heat up our home. During the Winter we keep it at 65+ for you which is usually pretty warm but feel free to turn up a bit. Please turn down when you aren`t home or when not in use.
Our guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of a few locked owner closets.
You will check in by going right to the home using the digital keypad located on the front door. Your code will be the last 4 digits of your booking phone number followed by check mark and will activate at 4pm. You can get ahold of us anytime on the app or via our local phone number. However, there may be delays after 5pm when we are home with our families. We have a QR code guest book on the fridge that has a wealth of information in it and can help answer most questions.
Christmas Valley area of South Lake Tahoe is a very quiet area off the beaten path. You are about 5 minutes to Holiday Market and other restaurants in Meyers but you feel like you are much farther away from town. This quiet county neighborhood is best for families and those looking to relax. Just a short walk or bike ride from this home are miles of forested hiking and biking trails.
