"Bottom line: hidden fees; overrated "

"The floors were grimy, the couch was stained, the toilet had dirt and hair on it, there were no bed pillows for the sleeper couch. We stayed one night and spent the other 3 nights somewhere else. The listing does not make it clear that this is not a hotel: the reception area is only staffed for limited hours. The only way to reach the staff is by texting a phone number. I was promised a refund for the nights we didn't use and haven't heard from them in more than a week. "

"This hotel is a great value . The rooms are spacious and clean. The mini kitchen comes in handy. Great views of the beach No restaurant or bar on site except for the Italian restaurant on the beach. Be sure to reserve in advance."

"This was our 5th year staying at MBOR. But the 1st year in a 2 bedroom. There is so much space in the larger unit. The accommodations were fabulous.Davis was very responsive when I had questions. Parking was a breeze. We had everything we needed. Location was perfect. The only negative thing I have to say is that not having the beach chair amenity was a bummer. We made it work by renting from Regency Watersports in front of Eagles Nest. I was spoiled by never having to shlep my chairs an umbrella down. Glad there was an option. Will be back. "

"We had a great stay! Room was nice but the view from it was not great since they were working outside balcony. "

"The pictures were beautiful on the website but the reality was much different. No pool no hot tub and no laundry. No functioning elevator in parking garage due to construction. Construction just outside our balcony. Balcony door that wouldn’t lock. It was fixed on day 4 of our stay. Broken chair also fixed that day. Broken balcony window they were unable to fix. I talked , texted , and emailed multiple pictures to Vrbo and Vacasa. Communicated with a different person each time. Very frustrating. "
