「It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay .」

Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out.」

「We staying in this apartment because we were attending a wedding in the area and the apartment was ideal for what we wanted. The bed was comfortable and fans were provided which were appreciated as it was warm at night. The water for the shower was hot too. 「We had a lovely stay at Higham Manor. The property is spacious with a great pool and hot tub. We had 3 generations of our family and a dog and everyone enjoyed themselves. The property is a quirky mix of shabby chic and gothic. With everything we needed for our stay. Lots of parking and no stress at checkin or checkout. Would definitely recommend this house.」
