「Excellent breakfast 」

「This hotel is one of the Old English Inns. Very vintage style, clean, and comfort. If you want to try some typical English countryside, it is. The location may not suit for those don't drive.」

「We spent 2 nights at the Volunteer Inn in September in a room with shared bathroom. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all great. The breakfast was good and the pub downstairs is a good spot for a drink. Our room faces the road but was very quiet and did not get any noise from the pub. Given the cost of staying in Chipping Campden, we felt the rate was very reasonable.」

「Stayed one night in a twin room whilst on a long walk. Arrived to a very friendly welcome from the manager, everything explained and shown to our room. Room perfect with good tea facilities (great homemade biscuits!) and a bathroom with large shower and good quality toiletries. We'd booked dinner which was just as well as they were packed, both had the short rib beef and it was delicious, servers were lovely and they had fantastic Naptons cider on draft! 「Friendly place and lovely setting. A good location for us. Food was gorgeous and really reasonable. Lovely breakfast. Staff were really helpful and chatty. Great value for money! Only down side was there was no lift. Stairs a little steep - I travelled with my mum who is in her 80’s and she found the stairs a little hard. 」
