“My favorite place to stay on Nantucket. Reasonable prices for the island, and access to everything. Beautifully renovated lobby / bar / pool area. Regular shuttles to the beach and town if you want, or a great starting point for exploring the bike trails. Great casual local eats either across the street at Crosswinds at the airport, Casa Real for Latin/Mexican, or quick sandwiches/ ice cream if you want to walk/bike 1 mile.”

“Great stay as always. Nice pool and bar, great fire pits and ability to meet others vacationing as well. The only disappointing thing was the restaurant was not open for food; only drinks. (If you advertise a restaurant, there should be one.) Went to the Italian restaurant next door and had a very nice and reasonable meal. Also Skipper Chowder House was AMAZING, long wait, worth it!”

“Great location. Lobby is gorgeous, smelled great, sat by fireplace in the late evening. Pool area was relaxing, great drinks at bar and food served was tasty, 4 ft deep pool, also had a hot tub. Great low key vibes from the families with kids so was still able to relax. Clean rooms. Complimentary bikes. We had a room on first floor and could hear a lot of foot traffic overhead but quieted down during over night hours ”

"AVOID THIS HOTEL One of the towels provided had a brown stain that was extremely ugly (doubt it may be undesirable marks, with a bad smell). What's worse is that I discovered it after shower when I was using it. This was unacceptable, especially for an esteemed vacation house like this. When I reported the issue to the front desk during check out, I received no apology and was told that no compensation could be offered because the booking was made through a third party (on Expedia), and the front desk could do nothing about it. He said he would report to the manager, and I received no follow-up. I find this response both unprofessional and disappointing. I also wrote an email to the management team and received no response. The general experience was unpleasant. I hope I can receive proper settlement from the hotel management team."
