"The property was very clean and quiet. A little dark in the room, so more lightening recommended. The shower pressure was fine but the water doesn't get warm or hot. But other than my cold shower, I slept really well. The pillows are amazing and comfortable"

"One of the elevators was broken, the smoke detector ran out of battery life and beeped the entire night for one night, the gym was closed for half of my stay, and there were issues with checking early and an agent fee added. The dark skinned female front desk agent was very helpful, the male staff present when I checked in seemed very incompetent. The location is also very far from downtown Houston, which is where I searched for and wanted a hotel stay at. It is at least 30 minutes from downtown, which makes me question why it appears in the listing for downtown Houston searches."

"The hotel, overall, was very nice, clean and in a great location. A good breakfast buffet is available in the mornings. The only issue that I would mention was that the smoking out front of the main entrance was off-putting because it smelled really bad and it was quite egregious everyday that we were there. I wish management wouldn't allow smoking at the main entrance. Because of this, I will NOT stay in the future. If you don't mind the cigarette smoke every time you come in and out of the hotel, then this is a good option. For the price per night & heavy cigarette smoke, I won't return. Guess I assumed it would be a more upscale experience."

"The staff was excellent and perfectly attentive to any and all needs. The property is not kept up well though. The hinges on doors in the bathroom are rusted. The toilet is sized for a toddler. The amenities are very outdated. You can’t even stream on the tv’s. The towels are not adult size."

"Wasn’t not the same motel we stayed at before. The room was dirty, furniture out of place. It was disappointing. The price point was 4 times what it was worth. We’ll look for a different hotel on our next trip. The one good thing was the breakfast. It was still good."

"The whole experience was horrible. If I could give a zero I would. Everything was dirty without exaggeration!!!! The water was turned off for hours without notice so I couldn’t even take a shower. There was lots of mold, lots of cracks all over the place. It smelled like urine. When I first entered my room I almost slipped on my butt because they mopped the floor with Clorox. My room felt like it was some type of gas chamber because the Clorox smell was so heavy I couldn’t breathe and it made my eyes water. The room I rented was supposed to have a bath tub and it did not. So I went to the front desk and they gave me a room downstairs so I went upstairs to re-grab all my stuff and head downstairs. When I got to my second room mold, hot, gross. I used the restroom and found out the toilet didn’t flush right and it was very loose. Also they slipped a note under my door that read a a hotel alarm test would be going off at approximately 11 AM so I changed my work conference call for 12pm. Well the alarm didn’t go off at 11 it went off at 12pm during my call and again about a hour later. Each alarm lasted for like 10 to 15 minutes. Literally the 2nd Worst experience in my entire life. I rented this room to get away from life for a little bit, time for myself. This hotel experience just made it worse. I was not the only one complaining there was other hotel guests that were so upset. I would have rathered slept on a park bench!!! You guys are a disappointment !!!!! EWW.."
