"We chose this hotel mainly because of the water slide, but unfortunately it has been out of service since yesterday afternoon with no prior notice. The room also had an overwhelmingly strong disinfectant smell that made the stay very uncomfortable.
We were told we were being moved to an “upper level,” but the room actually felt more like a semi-basement, and there was almost no cell phone signal. On top of that, the hotel Wi-Fi was completely down from last night through this morning.
For a family-oriented hotel, a 10 AM checkout time is also surprisingly inconvenient. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations or the price paid."
