「We had the opportunity to get away for two nights and, as they say, salt water is great for the soul. The girls (9 and 12) loved the bunk beds and all the beach toys! Rita is a great host and everything. Was exactly as we expected it. No, actually, it was better than expected. We genuinely needed the getaway! Thank you, Rita, for providing a safe and welcoming spot for us!」

「Nice home on quiet street,home is well maintained and friendly people around shops the home is decorated with the beach in mind.and the outdoor fenced in area is quiet and pet friendly with a nice fire pit and patios with chairs a gazebo and lights throughout back yard which is relaxing all on its own .the screened in porch is and exrra bonus for rain days and early morning coffee to watch squirrel and birds play.it just overall relaxing place」

「A well maintained older home, very clean. We liked that it was close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The only downside to our stay , the beds were a bit uncomfortable and the water pressure in the shower was lacking. Nothing we couldn't live with for a week. Would definitely consider this property again.」

「This charming 3 BR 2BA is perfect for our young grandchildren. The distance to beach was not too far for a wagon ride(which one was available but we took our own). April is perfect time to visit as weather was perfect. Plenty of towels, Kurig was a sweet surprise, and all the necessity appliances worked!」

「Perfect house and extra large, completely fenced in yard for dogs and or kids! Large yard with fire ring, wood, grill with supplies, volleyball and basketball and a tree swing! Bring your own balls. 「My family of 4 adults & 1 mini golden doodle pup stayed for 5 nights at this cute Oak Island home. Loved the neighborhood and little park area close by. We found everything to be clean, well-stocked & cozy. Having the beach & restaurants/shops close by was a plus. We also spent time sitting in the fenced-in backyard relaxing & playing ball with our pup. We would definitely stay here again and appreciated our host's responsiveness to any questions we had.」
