“The staff are lovely and the stay was fine. The reason for my rating is that Expedia lists the property as a five star whereas we would put it as a two or three star. The price is in line with a lower star rating. Something to be aware of if you are booking so as to manage your expectations.”

“The location of Misty Bay is fantastic. It’s extremely quiet and the views are gorgeous. The grounds are immaculate. Phil, our host, was most welcoming. Our room was beautiful, the linens were pristine and our bathroom was modern with even a heated towel rack. There is an upstairs TV lounge, and down the hall from our bedroom was a wonderfully equipped kitchen - microwave, air fryer, cappuccino maker, toaster, fridge, kettle- teas, coffee, biscuits, cartons of water and milk in the fridge.
