The host was very nice and friendly; she came out to help us with things we could have read in the info packet she’d emailed, but she didn’t display the least bit of annoyance. Instead, she conversed with us a bit about the property. “Host cancelled the booking with less than 24 hours of notice (apparently due to a double booking) when I had already travelled to the area, which left me high and dry at the last minute. I had booked nearly 2 weeks in advance so there should have been plenty of time for this to be flagged in their system. “On arrival it was a bit dark. No lightning to cabins. I think maybe solar lightning or something!! Stepped into cabin it was nice and warm as picked the coldest night of the year so dar to turn up. “We had a nice one night stay at this cosy cabin which is in a picturesque part of Winchester near the streams. It's a fun adventure for a young family but probably not ideal for people with mobility issues as the two bedroom spaces require climbing/crawling through a small door. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the cabin but the kitchen is outdoors, which is a bit of a challenge on a wet/cold day. Would definitely stay again.”
