“Best VRBO I have ever stayed in - even better than pictures. We had a couple of questions and Jonah responded immediately. Beds were very comfortable and sheets were so soft. We spent most of our time in the game room. There was plenty of room for all 12 of us around the bar and the dining table. The industrial size coolers and ice machine there were perfect. Plus, the 2 refrigerators in the kitchen fit everything we all brought. I Can only imagine how great it would be in warmer weather around……

“Loved the design of the place, the quiet, peaceful surroundings. Sitting out on the upper deck and the quiet study in the upper sitting room. The hosts were wonderful, very helpful.”

“The family and i had a great time. Aside from s few minor set backs. Time bottom bump bed was a little broke before i got there. The master bedroom door wouldn't close but i fixed my self. Other than that amazing weekend”

“This place was amazing. Roomy 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Spending time in Grand Rapids and Holland Michigan so the location was in between both and so easy to find. The place came with everything we needed. There was a pond and a walking trail, dog park and beautiful grounds. The place was spotless and nice decor. Would stay there again”

“A great get away, its small with stairs, which was no problem for us. The location is wonderful, small towns nearby with good restaurants and grocery stores. A quick drive to Holland and State Parks. We had a wonderful time. And its dog friendly!”

“The house was clean and tidy. We were there to just sleep and not entertain. I would say that for our family preferences, we’d stay in a more quiet area of the city. This part of Grand Rapids while charming is busier than we expected. This is no fault of the host. Her description of the home and what was included was spot on. It is an old house but VERY charming and cozy. Lots of great coffee shops and eateries nearby etc. Good value and stay overall.”

“Very convenient location for a downtown wedding - close enough to walk in. Walking route had many drug users and homeless, though, so we usually drove. Lots of noise from upstairs - non-stop barking dog, could hear every footstep. Bed was the least comfortable bed of any place I've stayed in years; between the two, not a great sleep on any of the 5 nights. Neighbors shouting at one another outside at 2am. Floor is very uneven - be mindful if anyone in your group is not sure-footed. Drops and……

“This place was home away from home... cozy clean and cute. It had all that we needed and it was in a good location. We plan on making this our place to stay for future girls trip.”

“It seems as the owners are new to VRBO. The place was decorated nicely, but the kitchen was not clean, the oven did not work and the kitchen was not well stocked. We found the place late in our search for somewhere to stay for the marathon. It was fine for one night.”

“Me, my mom & sister stayed a long weekend for mothers day. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Check in was easy and communication with the host was top notch. The master bedroom is very nice, and the cabin itself is well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed downtown Lowell and a trip to meijer gardens in grand rapids (only a 20 min drive.) We would absolutely stay here again!”

“The property is wonderful lots of extras besides the cabin itself eg. Kayaks ,waterfront ,bikes ,cornhole,ect. The host is very easy to work with just leave things how you found them. I went with my wife and 3 week son and our doggo, And mind you it was cold snowing and raining and we still loved it. We will definitely be back. 5 stars 🌟 10/10 thank you guys from the pauwels family sorry we were a little late checking out 🙂”

“The pictures do not do it justice! We were just slightly early for the fall color change but the lake, the calmness, and the solitude was everything we were looking for. The house was immaculate, and everything we needed was within reach of wherever we needed it. Highly recommended!”

“The furnished apartment was a perfect spot to land when a need arose to be closer to the Grand Rapids area for six weeks. To be able to have a place to come back to, relax and cook meals was invaluable. Those in the apartment building were so kind and those that managed this VRBO were ever so helpful as we needed to extend our stay. It was also the perfect spot to get many places easily and quickly. Plus, who doesn’t like living in a castle.”

“My family and myself came to the area for a musical in grand rapids and i think we all enjoyed the stay at least as much as the musical itself. This property comfortably slept my party of 14 without issues. My daughters still talk about how they "Got to stay in a castle". Full marks from me. I have already recommended this property to some friends and would recommend it to anyone else thinking about staying.”
