“A magical spot--just a little gem. Well-stocked, well-decorated, very private yet easy to get to. Many, many thoughtful touches: two different coffee makers, a drawer stocked with mini bottles of shampoo, tons of clean towels. Wonderful general store is about five minutes away. Add to this the patience and forebearance of the host when I first got lost and next couldn't figure out how to get in! Both problems are due to my own ineptitude, but Adam couldn't have been nicer. “Home is split nicely with bedrooms at one end, communal and rec rooms at other. My bed was fine, but I understand there was some discomfort with 2 other beds. There were only 5 of us, and 8 or 9 beds, so they just switched beds and all was good.
Easy location to walk to town - 5 minutes to Logan's, Mountain Market and Charlie Johns. In summer I imagine it would be 10 minutes to town beach.
Lots of heat dials to customize to each individual preference. Back porch was nice. Spent a bunch of time……

“First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”
