Ideal for couples and couples with children.
The 55 square meters one bedroom apartment provides a spacious living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.
Refrigerator, stove top, oven, cookware, utensils and coffee maker.
The expandable sofa in the living room for 2 kids or 1 adult.
Very well equipped bathroom with shower, shampoo, soap,towels, toilet paper and hairdryer.
Washing machine available.

Great apartment! Fantastic location!!!It is true what they say, “there is no parking in Split!” However, we were able to rent a parking spot from the host; which allowed us to explore the surrounding areas. The apartment felt very safe, and is just a few minutes walk to the shops, cafes, and restaurants of the Old Town/Varos/Theater district(s). Grocery store and pharmacy are just around the corner. The apartment is very clean, the air con and washing machine worked great. The iron and blow dryer provided were very helpful. Shower is luxurious. Fast internet is a big plus to upload photos and stay in touch with friends back home. The host is great! She met us at the apartment to show us around, she was available to answer any questions, and suggested a few restaurants nearby. We felt really well taken care of during our two week stay. Highly recommend!

I gave the location only 4 stars because it's on the 5th floor with no elevator. There was plenty of shopping and food available and it was actually a very quiet neighborhood. My only quibble would be no sheets available for the pull-out couch. My wife had an injured foot and was going to sleep on the couch as it is closer to the WC. Host was very responsive to any messages. Appreciated the toaster and well-equipped kitchen. The air conditioning was a lifesaver.

Too many steps to apartment and no parking

The property was very clean, comfy and well equipped. However it is on 4th floor with no elevator and it has no views. We are both over 60 and found the 60 steps to the apartment too much, especially in the heat. The owners son did carry our bags to the room when we arrived otherwise we would not have been able to manage. The town is very busy. We had reserved parking with the owner before travelling at 15 euros per day but when we got there it was not available and we ended up in a general car park costing 56 euros for 2 days!!

Close to everything

The place was clean and modern looking and has all the appliances one could want. With markets nearby and the promenade, too, it made it easy to take a boat over to Hvar and get back home in just a few minutes. The negatives are the unit is up a flight of stairs, but I also think Croatia was built up a flight a stairs. Parking is also at a premium, but the owners do have a reserved spot for $10 a night. Thank you for your hospitality.
