"The hallway was filthy, the outer doors were never locked, there was a homeless person asleep in the computer area, the breakfast was sub-par, the parking lot had a used condom & trash everywhere, there was homeless people casing out the cars, the chair in my room had bodily fluid stains, the staff was dressed like homeless people. Yet AMAZINGLY this room cost me $250 for 2 nights?!?!? NEVER book at this hotel!! Unsafe & disgusting!! "

"Great one night stay while traveling. Old and quaint, well taken care of. You can see they take pride and maintaining the property. I suggest sleeping with earplugs anywhere along this corridor, as there is a lot of train traffic. We are up and out of there early in the morning to hit the road so we did not take advantage of the breakfast."

"My dog and I have stayed here twice this month now. Staff is very kind and professional. They have grassy areas for the dogs to go, and there are a few parks in Ritzville too. I appreciated the king sized bed both times, clean room, working AC, and quiet atmosphere. Will definitely be staying here again! "

"Visiting an EWU student athlete and chose The Cottage (sitting on a family farm and among towering trees) as it was a good place to stay, get outdoors, cook, watch movies and generally catch up. Property is lovely and comfortable, well supplied and very clean. Proprietor was available and helpful and we were allowed to walk around the beautiful property. I will definitely stay again. This is the best place for EWU student parents, etc. Location is so near EWU, town, shops, restaurants. Spokane Airport GEG which is about 25 minutes away, is between Cheney and Spokane. Ideal location and property. "
