「You can't find a better location if you want to be in the heart of downtown Galena for a reasonable price. The air conditioning is a window unit in the front room, but the host provides plenty of fans. There are two bedrooms, but the first has cut-outs in the upper walls, and the second doesn't have a door right now, so privacy is limited. The living/dining area is very spacious and comfortable.」

「Place was perfect! We never moved our cars when we were there. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. Each room was nicely decorated and perfect for each couple. Some places might list sleeps 10 but then have multiple beds in each room or bunk beds etc, so this was perfect for an adult getaway with our kids. We could walk to everything and if someone wanted to stay behind or wasn't ready, they could catch up with us easily. Only downside would be the kitchen (would've loved an...

「The location was perfect, just a short walk from downtown. The Artistic Retreat was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed using the sauna, which was an added bonus. During one of our walks downtown, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. It was fascinating to learn about the history of the property and hear about their impressive artistic backgrounds. We highly recommend the Artistic Retreat.」
