"We had a fantastic long weekend with all the amenities we needed after some long cycle rides and an afternoon watching the LBL Monument from only a short walk away. Communication with the host was easy and responsive and there was a good supermarket nearby. A friendly cat topped off the trip - wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"Wij zijn met de hele familie een midweek in Villa Elie geweest. Een prachtig oud gebouw met ruime kamers en een heerlijke tuin. De leeftijd van het gebouw zie je soms wel, maar dit draagt zeer bij aan de charme van het verblijf. Door de centrale ligging hoef je niet voor alles de auto te pakken. Grote supermarkt is dichtbij. Voor het inchecken moesten we wel zelf achter een aantal dingen aan (code sleutelkastje, wifi-code). Contact met beheerder was verder prima, hoewel je in een andere taal...

"Het is een sober, net appartement op de eerste verdieping zonder balkon. Het ligt in een groepje afgelegen huizen. Het is heerlijk rustig en lekker buiten. Je kunt zwemmen in de vijver en picknicken op het grasveld, waar vier rustige lieve honden rondlopen. De locatie is bereikbaar via een heel smal weggetje. De host is aardig. De omgeving is prachtig, je kunt heerlijk wandelen, fietsen, steden bezoeken. Wij hebben genoten!"

"Nice, clean cabin but we were extremely dissapointed to learn that the fireplace was FAKE. It’s plastic. This cabin was advertised with a working fireplace and this was our only reason for renting this cabin. This was a huge dissapointment. The heating is with an electric stove which works slowly and dries the air out: we were all having headaches and dry eyes from the air quality."

"Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende mit der ganzen Familie in diesem schönen Haus. Genug Platz für alle Aktivitäten drinnen. Der Aussenbereich könnte zum Spielen noch ein bisschen größer sein, aber man kann auch die sehr ruhige Straße nutzen. In der Umgebung ist man mit dem Auto schnell an vielen tollen Ausflugszielen. Kontakt war sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank!"

"Lovely and well-equipped house that sleeps 8 easily (we were only 4). The view from the terrace is stunning. Plenty of space, good wifi, loads of parking. You can walk to the circuit (Combes entrance) but it’s a steep uphill 20-30 minute walk. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, and the terrace most of all, plus the friendly cows just over the road. We’ll definitely come back."

"Das Haus hatte für unsere Ansprüche alles was man braucht. Draussen konnte man überdacht sitzen oder sich mit einem Stuhl auf der Wiese einen herrliche Weitblick genießen. Die Betten waren sehr gut und alles andere hat auch super gepasst. Vielleicht sind im nächsten Jahr wieder hier."
