“Very pleasantly surprised this is an absolute gem of a find. Easy access to Brighton by bus or car. Clean and comfortable rooms and great food. I’m a pescatarian so don’t eat meat so they are missing a trick with the Jamaican fayre as Mac & Cheese would have gone down well however great price and warm welcome and will come back again probably before the summer is finished.”

“Wonderful small hotel in Kemptown. Beautifully presented. Spacious room with side sea view. Separate bath as well shower. Good selection at breakfast. Cocktails in fridge along with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Very short walk to beach, a bit further into the centre of Brighton. Highly recommend”

“We had a lovely stay in the Beacon View accommodation. It has a back deck with a superb view so we were disappointed it rained for the whole time lol. Perfect spot for exploring the South Downs National Park, or hopping to Lewes, or like us a day trip to Drusillas Zoo....”

“We stayed in room on the top floor. Room was cosy, comfortable, clean and quiet. Welcomed by host on arrival and had lovely breakfast in the morning. Perfect location for a short walk into town.”

“Nicely decorated and very clean, cramped and cold though. In a fairly grubby part of town. Very overlooked by other buildings into room. Staff assistance was prompt but there is no in person presence. Quiet at night and good black out blinds. ”

“The hotel is well-equipped, refined and comfortable. Convenient location, near the sea. We live in Room 5, with sea view and the environment is quiet. But be careful, you have to take the stairs.”

“There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. ”

“For what you pay it’s extremely decent especially considering it is right on the seafront. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room itself was clean. The only downside is that even with the windows open there was no airflow but nothing can really be done for that. The shared bathroom was a little bit grubby but not bad.”

“I was supposed to get book in details by WhatsApp before 3pm Friday they didn't come. Eventually someone appeared at 3.15 in the lobby if you could call it that. A window in the inside front door had been broken and was never replaced. Got to the room it was supposed to be a double. Fair enough it had double bed and just enough room to walk around it. The bathroom stunk on stale water. Would I stay here again? NO ”
