「Home had everything you could imagine - we had fires on the deck, watched beautiful sunsets, shared meals and laughs. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of living space for us to spread out. So many bathrooms made things smooth when getting ready to explore the area. The beach was fabulous. Parking was the only slight complaint and we made it work.」

However, close to check in, we received a lengthy message from the host with several rules such as no cooking with cumin or curry, no moving beds around, no food or beverages in any bedrooms, etc. We found this rather restrictive when staying with our families and several small children. 「Our experience with booking "The Barn" was excellent. The owners were courteous, kind and very professional to interact with. The Barn was clean and very comfortable to stay in. Owners have thought of and supplied most everything you could want during your visit. Keep in mind that you must be able to climb steps to get to The Barn as the main living space is on the second floor and most bedrooms are on the third floor. 」

「All aspects of this property met our expectations except for the bedroom situation. The property is listed as 5 bedrooms, but only one bedroom (new addition) has full walls. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host. 」
