“Bathroom paint & trim we not done with quality. The toilet ran all the time because the tank flappper didn’t seal. We told the maintenance man in our way out. The building is definitely older, and looks like it has gone through some updating. It was ok, but because the value vs what we paid was very good, there. Is no sense bashing the place. Would I stay again. I probably would ”

“The breakfast was ok. The pancake machine made more of a skidmark than a pancake. The oatmeal was instant and the yogurt was not low in stock. The room had a nasty smell to it like it was unclean. We paid to have a room that slept 6 and the fold out couch was so bad that we could not use it hardly as a couch let alone a place to sleep. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the bathroom tiles had no grout and the light above the sink was out. We had to track someone down for towels and the……

“Wonderful restored apartment building from 1920s, mostly original elegant woodwork. Some rooms still with much or all original features - such as a cast iron clawfoot tub in our room (Dahlia), also an old treadle sewing machine converted to a side table. Very generous and helpful staff, including breakfast chef who made a hearty breakfast each day. Great location ~7 blocks walk from historic district. Only minor drawbacks - slightly worn linens, bed so-so, curtains not light-blocking at least in……
