「This amazing cabin more than lived up to our expectations!! My family enjoyed blueberry picking, foraging for mushrooms, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, swimming, incredible sunsets, campfires, listening to the loons and just being together in nature. Our two weeks spent at the cabin were incredible. Barbara (the owner) and Mark (the caretaker) were very attentive to all our questions. We look forward to coming back!!」

「It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.」

「Always a wonderful stay at this cabin- quiet, comfortable, with the beauty of the lake right outside. Reading and hikes during the day, watching the sunset and maybe a movie at night. The kitchen is simple but always seems to have what I need. This is my 3rd visit and I'll be coming back again!」

「Quiet location on a beautiful lake. Respectful pleasant neighbors. Kayaks available. Clean cabin. Comfortable beds. Shower a little snug for a plus sized woman. Very nice washer and dryer provided. Lincoln is a nice little town with wide variety of shopping opportunities. Forester's Pub has excellent food. Michael was a great host. Will definitely stay here again if traveling in the area.」

「Great time ice fishing. We were 5 guys and fit fine at the rental. Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Access to river during the winter with a side by side we had to go to different entry point but it wasn’t far. Owner was next door so any questions were addressed immediately. Would recommend.」

「The property at Grand Lake Stream was exactly as advertised. It was clean, plenty big enough and the setting simply could not have been better. Even during a cooler than usual late August, we were in the water every day (don’t forget your water shoes, you’ll need them). The kayaks and canoes were great, and the fire pit was the highlight at the end of virtually every day—a mere 20-feet from water’s edge. A wonderful spot, with incredibly responsive hosts」

「My family ranged in age from 19 to 70 and the property provided the perfect backdrop for all our events and antics. The pond surprised us with two good catches and a few bass. 「We really enjoyed relaxing on the spacious porch after spending our days fishing in the area. The view of the pond and the comfortable seating were great. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, and meal preparation was a breeze. Beautiful scenery but located close to shopping in Lincoln, this was the perfect base for us to float-fish the Penobscot and East Branch. Would recommend, and would love to return.」

「My husband dog and I, very much enjoyed the camp. So peaceful. We ended up getting up there later than planned. John waited for us. He was so kind and helpful. My car ended up having issues and needed to be fixed. I texted John. He sent me to a garage in Lincoln. They were so nice. The lake is clean and clear. So beautiful. I enjoyed fishing while my husband relaxed in the lake. John also told us about some good fishing and walking places. The camp has all you need for cooking and eating....

「Our stay was great. The camp was everything the description said it was. If relaxing and peaceful is what your looking for this is the place for you. Close enough to the beautiful town of Lincoln, for shopping. We even stayed an extra day beyond our original departure date. The host is very accommodating and replies quickly.」

「Great cabin!! I could move here!! Recently remodeled! 2 bedrooms downstairs and one large bedroom with 2 beds upstairs. Extra outdoor cooking/dining area, with gas grill, blackstone and picnic table. Down the hill is a dock, bit of a steep climb, but great for fishing and swimming. Canoe and kayaks available. Friendly owners right next door and willing to accommodate guest however needed. Definitely will be staying here again when we all come up to visit family!!」
