If you are looking for a fantastic pool house for no less than 22 people with lots of indoor and outdoor activities, close to the beach-friendly beaches of the Limfjord, then this is definitely the house for you. Comfort and quality are paramount here. The entrance doors have ramps, there are no doorsteps and two of the en-suite bedrooms are extra large. The large bathroom has a disabled toilet and an open shower area. Families with children will also find the necessary facilities such as a nappy-changing room, a baby bath, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
You can look forward to billiards, table tennis, table football, darts, cards, board games and Playstation 4 in the activity room. The gamers in the family will also appreciate the LAN connection. You can also easily stream your entertainment with the Chromecast.
Start the day with a dip in the hotel's own swimming pool with counter-current system. The children will have hours of fun on the water slide, while the adults relax in the sauna or whirlpool.
Spend many pleasant hours outdoors on the 3,000 m² natural corner plot, where you are welcome to pick a bunch of wild flowers and fruit from the many fruit trees. Have fun and spend the night in the private shelter, bake stick bread over the fire pit and use the filleting area if you were lucky on your fishing trip. The children can play in the playground with play tower, trampoline, swings, slide, seesaw, sandpit and tricycles. They also have the opportunity to compete in volleyball, football, fireball and croquet. Enjoy a beer on the afternoon bench and the view of the hilly landscape. You can also look forward to a relaxing soak in the Finnish wooden bath, followed by a dip in the cold-water tub. This is pure therapy for body and soul, while you enjoy a unique starry sky without local light pollution.
There are many exciting attractions to visit in the area around Hostrup Strand, such as the medieval Spøttrup Castle, Jesperhus holiday park, Hjerl Hede open-air museum, Daugbjerg limestone quarries, the B&O Museum in Struer, Thy National Park, Venø with Denmark's smallest church and the Limfjord island of Fur, where you can go fossil hunting and visit Fur Bryghus & Restaurant. The area also offers a variety of walking, running and cycling routes, and Venø Bay is popular with anglers, kiteboarders and windsurfers. On the beach, you can pick fresh oysters and crabs for a delicious meal. Both Hostrup Strand and Gyldendal Strand have clear, clean bathing water and their own bathing jetty, and the sunset over Venø and Thyholm is absolutely breathtaking.
