Hidden gem

Fantastic from start to finish. Gordon was fantastic. The property is amazing with beautiful views. The rooms were spacious. Will definitely be coming back to this property. Only 10 minute drive to St Andrews

PERFECT PEACEFUL GETAWAY.

Excellent property with all you need for a peaceful break.Lovely views and great facilities.Communication with owners is great and we had all the details needed to easily find the place and make ourself at home for the couple days.So quiet and just enough out the way to feel away from it all but not miles into the hills.We were also greated with a bottle of wine along with milk cheese and breads, that was very kind of the owners to do.Would recommend this place to friends and family, and definitely book again..

Beautiful location.

We had a lovely week staying in your beautiful property. Gorgeous scenery from lounge as well as from the conservatory. Would recommend this as a good base for the area. Close to St Andrew's and Dundee as well as the pretty harbours along the south Fife coast.

So much to do

Our hosts Gordon and Marian were extremely helpful and hands on in welcoming us with recommendations and treats in the larder. Glamis Castle is a gem and the town of St Andrews is more than just golf¹

Gordon was super hospitable and kind. Had some basic groceries stocked since we were arriving late. Loved the view down the hill in the countryside. When I come back to St Andrews, I’ll stay here again!

We could not recommend this more highly. Apart from the property being spacious, really comfortable and clean, the hosts were a delight! So very very helpful and kind as well as being very interesting people. Stunning views, made all the better by our luck in having beautiful weather.

Wonderful!!

We had the absolute best stay here! Gorgeous views! Comfortable home with everything you need! They even stocked essential groceries so we didn’t have to rush to the grocery store. It was so nice and peaceful to stay here, cook, and enjoy the beauty of St Andrew’s after a long day on the golf course. Highly recommend and plan to return on day! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Fully equipped and brilliantly cosy. Stunning views all around. Outdoor area is absolutely amazing, Large garden with barbecue, fire pit and large table, everything we needed! Owners are very friendly and communicative. Definitely a place we will revisit.

Idyllic Winter Getaway

An underrated property that offers breathtaking views and a cosy convenient getaway in the wintertime. We enjoyed the panoramic vistas while we sipped our coffees in the morning, and a cup of hot chocolate around the firepit with the sunset. I almost hesitate to write a review because this stay was such a hidden gem it is torture to spill the beans!! Will certainly be back!

Beautiful views in peaceful location

Easy travel to both Dundee and St Andrews. Lovely peaceful stay. Situation of house meant that we didn't even hear Storm Callum during night! Food, drink and fruit provided on our arrival with everything else that you would need available in kitchen.

Fantastic wee break!

We really enjoyed our stay, the property has gorgeous views and is in a great location for visiting the surrounding area. We went to St Andrews and further down the coast to the beautiful village of Crail. Gordon and Marion were excellent hosts. They went the extra mile getting us groceries on arrival and were very friendly.Thank you for a fab stay. The Smeaton family!
