"If I could give negative stars for this property, I absolutely would. The host cancelled our reservation right before our trip and failed to properly update the system or communicate professionally. I only found out the booking was cancelled when I was trying to get check-in information before leaving for Jamaica. The host messaged saying they cancelled for “personal reasons,” but after that completely stopped responding — not only to me, but also to Expedia when they repeatedly tried contacting them. Even by the time I was leaving Jamaica 5 days later, they still had not responded. Because of this, I was forced to scramble and find another place to stay in less than 24 hours before my trip. It created unnecessary stress and completely disrupted my travel plans. Very unprofessional service and terrible communication. I truly wish I had paid closer attention to the previous reviews. Please save yourself the hassle and do not book this property."
