The owners were welcoming (we happened to run into them upon our arrival), the property was very clean, and the location was excellent. It was fabulous being in the historic district, so close to St. George St. & Hypolita, since the relentless heat necessitated occasional breaks from sightseeing, and it only took a couple of minutes to get to our place (and sit indoors in the a/c). The great location has a shadow side - there's the occasional loud group walking by late at night; plus the beeping of the trash trucks woke us up at 6:30 am (but we fell back asleep afterwards). Note that the owners don't keep vinegar, oil, or spices in the kitchen (or sharp knives, I believe?), so you'd have to bring all ingredient you want to use if you're planning on making anything. Plus, there's no water dispenser in the fridge, just FYI. Also, the listing states that there's a DVD player, but there was none, in case you're old school like us and still bring DVDs with you on trips.
Still, we enjoyed the balcony, the generous amount of coffee (keurig) and half and half the owners provide, the laundry facilities, and the accommodations generally.
We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The wine the owners left was a great touch.
