Sea Haven

Great location near pool and boardwalk. Shower dripped. No Ice maker. No Iron. Only queen bed with poor quality mattress in main bedroom. Kitchen adequately furnished. Freshly painted which looked nice. Needs overhead light in main bedroom and needs clock for bedside table.

Needs some updates not very clean under tables and furniture you could see debris and dust easily other than that we enjoyed our visit but would probably prefer a different unit but would stay if something else wasn’t available or as cost effective

Sea Haven 115

There isn't enough light in the master bedroom. A lamp on the dresser would be helpful. The sofa arm has a hole in it. There should be an ice maker in the fridge. For $2000+ for a week, these issues should be addressed. TVs, washer and dryer,and furniture, except the sofa, are nice and quite adequate.

Amazing beach vacation!!

We have visited St. Augustine before but this was our best stay. The condo is perfectly located on the beach to beautiful views and quick access to the beach. The patio has enough chairs and a table to sip your morning coffee or to just sit back and enjoy the view and breeze from the ocean. Even though some of the reviews mention that the condo is older and not upto date, it is comfortable and well equipped for your stay. I was impressed at how clean it was when we arrived. The rental company/condo management kept in touch through text messaging and was prompt to respond to any queries. They even extended our stay when we requested an additional day on short notice and promptly responded to a dryer issue we had during the stay. I would definitely rent this condo again!

Our family has been coming to Sea Haven for many years (actually since Sea Haven opened for business) and always have a wonderful stay! Love the area for the beach and close proximity to all the excellent restaurants and the historical city. While we always enjoy our stay, Unit 115 is in desperate need of some updating. With the price increases...condo should reflect that the owner values the renters.

Our family has been coming to Sea Haven for many years and always have a wonderful stay! Love the area for the beach and close proximity to all the excellent restaurants and the historical city. While we always enjoy our stay, Unit 115 is in desperate need of some updating. The interior doors and cabinetry are apparently the originals and are showing their many years. A coat or two of paint would at least freshen them up.The notes of things not to use or how to make ice are not acceptable. An ice tray with a note on it to fill with water, place in freezer and wait....have the ice maker repaired please. Also there is no room for guests items as there are excessive comforters and blankets stored in all the closets. It just seems that as the price increases the unit should be more

We love Sea Haven and have stayed here for over 20 years off and on. This is the 2nd year we have stayed in this specific unit. We love the location on the property but it needs some serious updating and repairs done. The sliding glass door handle was completely broken off and unuseable all week. They are lacking on kitchen utensils and need to replace all of their towels. The carpets need to be cleaned desperately as well. The master bathroom toilet runs continuously and the other shower had trouble with the hot water. The one good thing is the beds are very comfortable. Again we love the complex and location of this unit but are hoping updates can be done based on the price.

When we arrived, all the bulbs in the kitchen overhead light were blown, light in bathroom was out, bulb out in lamp in master. Maintenance quickly replaced bulbs. There was thick black scum/mildew in guest shower. Fan blades had thick dust hanging off. Coffee pot had not been washed. Master needs more lighting—no overhead light, only 2 bedside lamps, very dark. At least a lamp on dresser would help. Kitchen needs updating. Wall paper looks like the 70s/80s. The closets were messy and crowded with the owners belongings. Office staff very pleasant and accommodating. Great location.

#115 Jan. 15 - Feb. 28 2018

The location of this unit is excellent; easy to haul groceries to and a short walk to the beach access. We are comfortable except for the low toilets in both bathrooms. As we both have had joint replacements, getting down and up from a low toilet is problematic and can be painful. The master bed is comfortable but regrettably is not a King. The twin beds in the second bedroom are suitable for youngsters but not adults. Three mattress covers, two with padding, on one bed just don't make up for a worn out mattress and plywood?? on the other bed! With the refrigerator, the ice catches in the chute and causes a wet floor so we have to remember to pick it out of the container on the inside of the door (not very sanitary). Cheers for the larger TVs and eventually the HD service. We saw the end of the Olympics in HD and would have loved to view the Olympic opening/first week and the Superbowl with HD clarity. We decided against returning for the last two weeks in January in 2019 as the weather is definitely cooler and we would have to pay a premium (weekly rate) for poorer weather.
