    The Space:

    Delight yourself with this extraordinary beachfront St. George Plantation home with stunning Gulf views, private boardwalk to the white sandy beach, and exclusive community amenities including pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and nature and bicycle trails! This popular vacation home offers lots of space for your group to spread out and relax. Always Awesome is secluded yet close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, and the St. George Island Lighthouse Museum.



    The exterior of this property offers under-house concrete parking, covered entry, an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower, a fish cleaning area, a park-style grill, and a private boardwalk leading to the white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico! Enclosed foyer stairs lead to the floors above. The elevator is available for guest use.



    The first floor features amazing sea views and private access to the beachfront deck. There are four well-equipped guest bedrooms. The second floor features a spacious living/dining/kitchen area with cheerful coastal decor and large master bedroom suite. There is plenty of comfortable seating, a TV, warm hardwood floors, and large windows emphasizing views of the Gulf. Each room on the second floor offers beachfront deck access. The spacious kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare coastal feasts, and there is plenty of seating at mealtime at the large dining table and bar counter stools. The kitchen and dining area also overlook the Gulf and create an amazing backdrop for making memories at the beach. Multiple DVDs and a stereo are provided. A full baby crib and high chair are available for little ones. Beach gear credit is included with this home - book a stay and get your choice of kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs, and more!

House had great beds, good water pressure, appliances worked well except both ice maker did not work, air conditioning worked well, kitchen was fully equipped, furniture was comfortable and house had beautiful decor. Views were great on 3rd floor could see dolphins. House just needs a few maintenance things fixed. Examples are door knobs, cabinet doors, walkway nails hammer into boards. Roof trim fell off 3rd floor balcony. Picture fell off wall in second master bedroom. Sliding Doors did not lock on second floor in Seahorse bedroom. Give this house some love and care. Don’t use the elevator! Could not call for help from my cell phone when we got stuck! Need a working land line. Front and back doors were hard to lock and open. Avari management spokeswoman Lisa offered to send guys to help move us out but I don’t trust strangers with my personal items . Elevator shut off three times during our stay.
