FREE Beach Gear! Guests of this home will enjoy a complimentary beach gear credit toward items such as bicycles, kayaks, beach umbrellas and more!

The first level of this lovely home offers a large beachfront Master suite with King bed and private bathroom with jetted tub. Access to a covered deck invites you outside to greet the morning sunrise or to gaze at the millions of twinkling stars in the night sky. A second bedroom with Queen bed also has a private bathroom with shower stall and a laundry closet with stacked washer/dryer is available in the hall for your convenience.

Upstairs you will walk into an open living area with Queen sleeper sofa and high ceilings. Here, you can relax into the comfortable furnishings or walk out onto the beachfront covered deck with an additional sundeck to delight in the warmth of the sun. The upper deck has a gate which closes access to the lower decks so you can keep a closer eye on your pet or smaller children. Prepare the catch of the day in the tiled kitchen with breakfast bar or enjoy additional seating at the dining room table for 6. Just past the kitchen is a stairwell to the upstairs loft bedroom with Queen bed overlooking the living area and Gulf view, as well as a street side view to watch the summer hustle and bustle of other families enjoying their time on St. George Island. A bathroom with shower stall is available just off of the living area.

As much as you will enjoy spending time inside this beautifully decorated home, the ground level boasts a large, gated beachfront sun and covered deck with enclosed outdoor shower, eating spaces, and access to a park-style charcoal grill and beach boardwalk. The covered outdoor sofa will be your favorite place to nap in between beach visits.

Multiple TVs and DVD players available. We allow up to 1 dog under 30lbs with advance permission for a $150 + tax fee.

Easy check in, great beach access and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The chairs on the top deck were cheap plastic, the dishwasher was disgusting and the washing machine needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Overall the property just needs some TLC and it could be much much nicer.

Great family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Took advantage of the credit for beach gear and it was waiting for us when we got there. House had everything you needed. Loved having the beach right outside our door and the ice cream shop right across the road was a bonus!

Wonderful stay

This house was all it promised. The fenced patio was brilliant for the dog. Location is great you can walk to everything…and we did! You can walk to the parrot by beach or road. The house was clean and spacious and perfect for our stay. It’s always a blast to be able to bundle everything up a pop down tot he beach for the day! Dog friendly easy checkin and access it was relaxing and stress free.

Annual Trip, Beach Year

The island is amazing. It's not commercialized, all in walking distance, and not "island prices". There was no short on happy staff and there were relatively no waits at restaurants. The beach is beautiful, clean and not overcrowded. Would 100% recommend a trip to St. George's Island. The house is dated and could use a facelift, but it did not take away from the trip at all. It is much closer to the beach than the pictures give justice. And you cannot beat the views from the back porches. We had three kids and four adults and the size was great for us. I would recommend bringing extra towels and laundry detergent as the ability to hang towels (beach or shower) and bathing suits is very limited. The queen beds are very, very small queens, if not even full size/double beds. The rental credit was great - we got bikes and extra chairs. The kids loved the ability to go anywhere on the island with the bikes.

Really enjoyed our stay. House was clean and convenient to center of island. Great decks to view the ocean. Short walk to private beach. It was nice to not have to rush out and drop your beach gear early in the morning like most places during spring break. Would definitely stay here again.

You need to be here

We rented for 4 weeks and loved it. The house is very comfy, the bed was comfy and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The views are amazing. Rain or shine. There are 3 decks you can choose from which was nice becoz the lower deck was a little warmer on a windy day. You can walk to restaurants, grocery and amazing donuts at Webers. Our two pups enjoyed the beach also. We felt this place was awesome. Would definitely rent again.

The house has a perfect view of the Gulf and direct access to the beach. Balconies on two levels, as well as a little nook on the ground level, provide a variety of spaces for relaxing. Tasteful and quiet.

Nice week at the beach

We enjoyed our time on St George island. The beach views were incredible. The house was a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed being able to grill at the property. The only thing is would change would be upgrading the mattresses, pillows, and the water heater. Beds were pretty uncomfortable, pillows were flat, and there seemed to be very limited warm (it didn’t really get hot) for bathing.

Enjoyed our stay, but…

This was our third visit to SGI and we love vacationing on the island. This rental home was average in terms of condition. The back porch / deck was very nice and the furniture was worn, but not bad for a rental home. The kitchen had basic kitchen wear but was not stocked with anything else. Our only complaint was how dirty the bathrooms were. We purchased cleaning supplies and cleaned them ourselves because the mildew was terrible. The place needs a deep clean and it will be fine. But guests should not have to clean bathrooms after a long day of travel.

Family beach vacation

The location of this place is perfect - walkable to the store, restaurants, etc. Beautiful views too - We were able to see dolphins almost every morning from our porch. The layout of the house that everyone described is accurate and worked well for us. We were disappointed in a few things that impacted our stay - hair dryers didn’t work, there were dirty dishes in most of the cabinets, quite a few mosquitos in the house - overall made the stay good but not great. Island is a great place though and so much fun for the whole family!

Disappointed

This property was not very clean. The baseboards were filthy and there was mildew on the shower curtain in the master bath and in the downstairs guest shower. It definitely needs a very good deep cleaning. We found the bottom of the blender, but the glass part was MIA. We were also extremely disappointed in the condition of the outdoor furniture. It was not as pictured at all. It needs to be replaced. We did not use it. This could be a great property in a great location, but it is in desperate need of some TLC. Over all, we were very disappointed.
