The place is a joy to stay at set in a beautiful area, well located to amenities, very quiet, no noise or hassle from owners, well equipped internally, good internet, easy parking, comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and great value for money. The place is beautiful and a real real gem. I definitely will be back like Arnie once said….」

「It was a nice place and clean until we pulled the sofa bed out and it was dirty, a quick hover wouldn't have done it any harm. Overall its a nice place to stay, we did try and phone the numbers given to inform of the condition of the sofa bed however not one number was answered, we ended up getting the caretaker, who was 100% helpful」

「这个酒店是带spa的度假型酒店，有游泳池、spa和很大的健身房，很适合休闲度假。我们预订的家庭房挺不错，预订时还以为只是一个大房间里加了沙发床，结果房间里还隔出了单独的小卧室，只是小卧室偏小了一些，刚好放下两个单人床，但客厅相对较大，且客厅中的沙发床很大，总体适合一家3-4口度假居住。略有不足是酒店不在切斯特市中心，而是在市郊大约10分钟车程的位置，总体还算方便，性价比较高。」

「Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area. The only down sude was the loss of my credidit card - was is handed in to you?? Dennis Cole」

「The property was pet friendly and my dog was made welcome. Lovely beer garden at rear which we were able to take advantage of due to the warm and sunny weather during our stay. Only a short walk (about 15 minutes) from the train station and and a lovely big park across the road from the hotel. Not much in Chirk though, with little more than cafes and bistros and bus service looks poor (up to 3hours apart judging by the timetables where provided) compared with other parts of Wales we’ve visited」

「The hotel is ideally located in the village with an outside seating area across the road and overlooking the river. We ordered salads for lunch which were brought to our table in PLASTIC baskets with the salad presented on a serviette! When questioned the waiter explained that they do not allow crockery outside yet drinks were served in glasses! Given our experience at lunch we chose to eat our evening meal at a Tapas bar and our breakfast at a nearby coffee shop. The hotel is in need of some...
