Very good choice of hotel.
Stayed here for a 3 night business trip and I could not have chosen a better hotel. Spotless throughout, staff very friendly and accommodating, food superb and the garden and pool areas were tremendous. 20 minute walk (down hill) to the center with many taxis if you need a lift back. Would love to come back again on a relaxing break and see more of this lovely island. Many thanks again.

A really great hotel!
Booked an overnight stay for myself and my son. Hotel grounds are really lovely and as the weather was nice during our stay I really wished we were there for longer, to enjoy the gardens, pools, hot tubs, pool bar etc; Breakfast at the hotel was lovely and all staff very friendly indeed. Decor in the hotel was not modern, but it was mostly in very good condition, and all very clean. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the pool. Very easy to get public bus into St Helier from the hotel. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Quick 3 day visit.
Lovely area where the hotel is set and Pool was lovely. Hotel staff all amazing. Food lovely. Position is lovely and bus route just outside of hotel which was perfect. Decor bit outdated and a BIG issue is it has no lift. Other than that perfect.

Lovely hotel. Grounds were immaculate, and pool / spa areas were always well kept. Rooms were comfortable and breakfasts / dinners were excellent. Convenient courtesy service into St. Helier. My only slight complaint was low water pressure in the shower at peak times. I would highly recommend this hotel and thank the staff for all their hard work

Really Good
A lovely hotel with amazing hotel grounds and pool. A great location for exploring the Island as its already in the Jersey Countryside. St Helier is a 20 minute walk or 10 minutes by the hotel courtesy bus into the center of town. Friendly and attentive Staff during our stay. The rooms are a little dated but perfectly adequate and just adds to the charm. A very enjoyable stay. I will book again when back in Jersey.

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating and the swimming pool was fab. Good options for dinner and breakfast was very tasty. The rooms are in need of an upgrade but in all we really enjoyed our time here.

Good for coach trips - not for business
Stayed for business and found the restaurant times bizarre. Breakfast not available until 08:00 and dinner only served until 20:00. Although to be fair, the staff were really friendly and let me have a cold breakfast at 7:30.

Sehr schöne Gartenanlage mit 2 Pools. Durch Vogelvoliere mit Papageien und Sittichen sogar Karibik-Feeling. Leider waren 2 laute englische Familien am und im Pool, wodurch die Atmosphäre komplett zerstört wurde. Schreiende und laut planschende Kinder. Kein Hotelpersonal achtet darauf. Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal renoviert werden. Beim Frühstück nur teilweise Buffet. Warme Bestandteile müssen leider bestellt werden. Frau an der Rezeption sehr unfreundlich und arrogant.

Lovely location, staff very polite, food very good, guests mature and friendly. Travelling alone I felt very safe here, however during meal times my table was either not ready or occupied, having to wait was a little embarrassing. Having mobility difficulties, I requested a low floor with pool view, this is misleading, as there is no ground floor bedrooms and the hotel doesn’t have a lift. The weather was fantastic the south facing pool a bonus

There was confusion at my arrival as being part of a funeral party I could have had 10% discount but booking through Expedia I lost it. The staff were not helpful about it. also I did not have the room that I was given by you. also there was no shuttle service to the airport as you advertised. There should be better communication between the hotel and yourselves

Lovely comfortable clean hotel. Gardens beautiful, well kept. Enjoyed the outdoor pool and especially the hot tub. We had bed and breakfast, food great and plenty of choice. A bit of a walk into the centre of St. Helier but regular bus service easily accessible. Our second stay, enjoyed our time there.

Westhill country hotel
The hotel was nice-an older building but comfortable with good facilities. The gardens are lovely. Our six year old daughter loved the pools and hot tubs and the aviary. There is also a play area, sand pit and chickens! Some parts of the garden were a little tired such as the table tennis area and changing rooms- it would have been useful if these were useable but overall it was lovely. The staff were great and there is nightly entertainment and a courtesy bus to take you to the town- about 10 mins drive away. There was a mix of age groups here but possibly more geared up towards the elderly.

The hotel was welcoming and clean and tidy. Needs an upgrade in certain areas but overall highly recommend. Could do with air conditioning in the rooms. However the staff were superb with an outstanding garden and pool area

Hidden gem
I was on a business trip & this hotel was a tranquill refresher! Slightly dated & with a definitely 'older than average' clientele it was alittle like stepping back in time. The grounds were beautiful & well cared for & the outdoor pool lovely. They do have hotel dogs so avoid this hotel if you're allergic/not keen on canines! I'd definitely stay again

Good hotel spoilt by poor breakfast arrangements
Hotel grounds were very nice, good rooms but no lift or access other than stairs (3 floors up) which involved self carrying of luggage. Breakfast too regimented and manager forced me and my guest to share table with other single and couples even though there were plenty of empty tables. The explanation that these were reserved for 'later guests', this makes no sense for those (us) that had paid full fare for breakfast inclusion. Why did we have to sit at shared small table (6 forced onto table for 4 max whilst other tables remained unoccupied). Everyone at table complained but to no avail. There were tables for two, three and four remaining unoccupied whilst we were made to 'scrunch up' on shared table in corner. Breakfast is part of the hotel experience and should be enjoyed. This happened on both of the days that we were there. Disappointing. Breakfast starts too late (no one allowed to enter before 08:00 !!). Spoilt the hotel stay, will not stay here again.

Provided basic accommodation
The room was very basic. The hand basin was in the bedroom not the bathroom, the bed was not comfortable (hard), there were no screens on the windows so was bitten by mosquitoes the first night until I learned the trick to keep them out the following nights, and there was no easy chair to sit and relax in - just a desk chair. Furthermore, whenever I came back to the room in the evening, the adjacent hall and room smelled of cooking smells (I suppose because I was above the kitchen). Just as well my wife was not with me as she would not have stayed a second night - I was booked in for five nights!
