The staff are friendly, it looks like a nice property, but there is noise from the pub on the same road, and the room was tired looking.

Great place to stay

Very friendly staff, excellent location, good food and great atmosphere. The only downside is that there is no on site parking. Although very cheap car park is only 5 minutes walk away

We had a lovely time and the staff were excellent. the only thing to mark you down was cleaning. Some cobwebs in our room (27) and ceiling dirty outside room in corridor and so on. We would certainly stay again 😊

Room was vey hot, fsn supplied didnt do any good. Should have had grab rails on bath Walk in shower would have been nicer. Didn't eat here. Bed very comfortable, lovely duvet which we didnt use as it was so hot.

Clean, good sized room and bed for a single. Good central location in town centre. Only down side is the parking is a couple of minutes walk away (fairly cheap for all day and free on Sunday)

lovely Hotel and location

great location lovely hotel the staff were 1st class at all levels. Breakfast were delicious, we had a light dinner on our second night and the young lad behind the bar was very good and helpfull as was the receptionist when we booked in and were able to go to our room earlier than stated, This was our 48th wedding anniversary - we had a card in our room and a note from the cleaning staff. We certainly will be back and without reservation recommend this lovely hotel.

Great hotel, public car park 200m away was jusr £4 for 24hrs Friendly team, good bar and nice breakfast selection The hotel is in the town centre and so we requested a quiet room, and it was Highly recommended in a pretty and bustling town

Centrally located hotel.

The room was exceptionally clean and toiletries eco friendly . The staff were all helpful. Assisted with luggage to the room. We also ate for a lunch and Sunday lunch. Breakfast was included with a very good choice. The only thing was the shower was difficult to turn on. We are staying again in March 2023.
Loved all the pictures of lions. Some very funny. This is just a few of them.

Character & Comfort Hotel in charming Market Town

Character Hotel in the centre of Charming Market town. Friendly welcome at Check In. A very hot weekend but Bar and Dining Area are air conditioned. Fans provided in rooms. Classic Doubles Rooms are quite compact though very comfortable with extremely high quality fittings and toiletries. Good quality fittings throughout the hotel. Staff extremely pleasant and most accommodating. Freshly prepared breakfasts and evening meals provide pleasant dining. No car park at the hotel though large long or short stay car park about 5 minutes walk.

The hotel is attractive and spacious. Room was a bit small, limited place for luggage. Reception was unable to clarify the parking rules outside the hotel. We were misinformed about this prior to booking. Difficult to get a space to unload. Long stay car park a few minutes walk. Breakfast choices were good, but poached egg was hard unfortunately.

Poor management and food

The 1st breakfast was dreadful. Even the Toast was not cooked properly. Food quickly got cold as served on cold plates. Next 2 days food better as asked for hot plates and cooked toast.staircase was never cleaned/hoovered while we were there for 3 nights. Bedside lamps not working and Did not get fixed during our stay. General poor hotel management. We have stayed 8+ nights in the past few months and the food has always been poor. Unfortunately there is very limited hotels in st Ives.
