「We came in to town for a wedding. The place was extremely clean and the quality of the space was better than the listing pictures. It was near a good variety of restaurants and things to do. The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If you enjoy being close to night life, this is the perfect stay for you!」

「Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!」

「My husband and I were in town for Cycle Zydeco and picked this spot a long time ago in hopes that it would be central for the event. It was absolutely perfect! The house is super cute and exactly as pictured and described. We loved the wrap around porch and sat outside every day as we returned from our bike rides. The location is super convenient, and you can walk to every restaurant on the main road within 10 minutes. It's also less than a block from the police station so it felt very safe....

「From the initial contact about the venue every thing was inviting and Erica made us feel very welcome. The venue itself has so much to offer as it has spacious rooms, a tranquil atmosphere, easy access to restaurants and an onsite store. There are so many things that can be done while at the location. The owner was easy to contact and we had no issues our entire stay. I highly recommend staying at Maison Freetown and will be back in the near future.」
