「Perfect location for travelling around the lake and for going out in the local area. Delicious and ample breakfast, tailored to your needs with plenty of tasty options which set us up right for a long walk. Super comfy bed, warm, little nice things like milk and good advice on walks and local sights. They also gave us biscuits to keep us trucking on our walk on our way out the door. 」

「A great hotel in a good location close to the sea with an excellent beer garden backing onto the canal. Fantastic food let down by a slow service between courses. The room was clean and comfortable although the extractor fan for the kitchen was directly outside the windows. Easy access for those who needed to leave early with a key dropbox and friendly efficient staff on reception and behind the bar. Bus stop outside to take you to Lancaster, Morecambe or pther destinations. Good walks along the...

「Absolutely beautiful hotel the staff was all very polite and welcoming me and my husband both loved the room very modern decor it was very clean and smelt lovely on arrival the spa bath in the room was perfect we stayed the Easter weekend we also had food and drinks downstairs in the restaurant the food was delicious and a fantastic range of drinks and cocktails we will definitely be returning again thank you for a fantastic stay 」

「The room was warm, clean and cosy, comfy bed, bath towels a bit small, had a room with mountain view of Dow Crag & Coniston all be it a little restricted, the food was very good in the evening & the breakfast had a great choice and very tasty, staff were very friendly and helpful, it was a very peacful place to stay quiet at night no noise from other rooms will defo stay again it has been one of our better choices」
