「We had a great 3 day stay at the Farmers Arms. The staff were very friendly and provided us with a fantastic breakfast everyday. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, there were tea and coffee making facilities which were replenished every day. St Merryn is a beautiful village with Harlyn and Constantine being some of the best beaches in the country in my opinion. We will definitely be heading back soon.」

The only disappointing part of the stay is that breakfast does not start until 9am, which for us was too late as we needed to get on with the day. 「The couple who run the hotel are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is nicely decorated. My room was very clean and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast is all cooked to order and very tasty, especially the scrambled eggs which were the nicest I've eaten. I had some interaction with the other guests at breakfast and everyone seemed relaxed and happy.」

「Sarah, the owner, gave fantastic service and made great efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Lusty Glaze beach (or Newquay beach/town centre), the breakfast was reasonably priced as an extra, and parking was free. The room was basic and a little tired, but given the positives it was good value for money. Wouldn’t have stayed if planning to spend lots of time in the room, but was a great base to explore.」

「Great place for a family get together. Plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub and games room were well used. The house is bright, modern and comfortable. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....
