Great Place!

Our second time in this unit. Beautiful views! Comfortable. Nice pool. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Publix nearby. On the quiet end of the boardwalk.

Treasure Island - Tropical Terrace

Our apartment style room was great accommodations, location, and view! Would definitely rent from them again. Local environment with good live music and walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

We really enjoyed our stay. Unit was perfect size for two. Very clean and comfortable. As was the entire property. Great view. Will def stay again. Only suggestion would be is to have a couple beach chairs.

Beautiful view

The property is located in a prime area. Walkable boardwalk takes you to a couple restaurants and tiki bars. The condo was perfect for two adults and an infant. The only complaint we had was that the code to get into the room where the ice machine was stopped working on our last day and there was no one to remedy the situation.

Beautiful, clean...and a little bit frustrating

The unit itself has beautiful views of the gulf out two big windows in the living / dining area and is exceptionally clean with an updated kitchen area and bath. There are huge ceiling fans as well as airconditioning / dehumidifiers that keep the inside very comfortable. The unit is near a staircase, so there is hotel-ish noise most of the time, especially in the bedroom. The overall property is quaint old Florida, clean and well kept. The beach is truly just steps away with chairs and umbrellas to rent. There are also a Walgreens, Surf Style, and Publix nearby, so you can buy your own gear and groceries. Parking is a bit far away for hauling luggage and groceries, but there is a traffic light at the parking lot, which is very helpful. The property managment company was what makes it difficult to rate this experience. I called prior to booking with some questions, and the company was super responsive. I received a text message and a call back right away. Also, while staying they were replacing doors, and I received a couple of calls to say that workers would be replacing the door next door. I responded that I understood, and that was fine. The disconcerting event occurred when I went for a morning walk on the beach and came back to discover the door the unit I was staying in was gone! I was traveling alone, so it was a bit extra disturbing. The workers were very kind and professional and showed me their work orders. When I spoke with the property manager on duty I felt my concerns were a bit brushed aside as apparently others had been complaining about the construction noise all week. I was told to either sit by the pool and wait or just leave and come back. After an hour, I ended up heading to the beach again and came back to find myself locked out of the new door as the code hadn't been entered. When I called the company number and spoke with the same representative who had been so responsive prior to my booking, again I felt my concerns were brushed aside and my request for a small refund for the apparent mix up were met with a "I'll check with my manager." That time, I never heard back at all, even though I was staying in the unit for three more days. That response made me a little more frustrated by the lack of toilet paper, soap, etc. which are clearly delineated in the rental agreement, but seemed a bit overly skimpy in context. So, the view and unit are lovely, I'm not sure what to say about the company overall.

Great beachfront unit

Very clean unit, great light and view. Older garden style property but the unit has been recently renovated and is super comfortable, updated, and clean. Pool is lovely and warm, property is very old Florida with modern touches. I'd stay here again!

Tropic Terrace is a very nice, friendly place to stay.

Loved the area. Had problems with air/heat unit, no instructions left explaining how to use it. We loved the unit, surrounded by windows out to the beach area, very nice view.

Amazing house and vacation

Beautiful home with everything you could possible need. The pool was so refreshing and the location was prefect. I told my daughter that I would love to buy this house as it is perfect. We will be booking this home through VRBO again!!!

Great location

Property was beautiful and well maintained. Unit 27 has a great view and was very cute. Not sure why a few reviews said the bed was uncomfortable because we slept great. Only hard thing for us was how small the kitchen was plus a lot of stuff in the kitchen needs to be updated. The property could really use a bike rack. Overall I would definitely refer friends to stay there.

Paradise, highly recommended!

The unit and property were beachy and tropical, very nostalgic. We fell in love! Just beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice. We met a few of the condo owners, and they were super friendly and helpful! Plenty of parking on the side of the building. The view from the living room and balcony at unit 27 were spectacular, looking right out to the beach and palm trees. The pool was super nice, surrounded by tropical foilage. The pool was clean, heated, and well furnished with nice lounge chairs and umbrella tables. They have an ice machine in the rec room, and extra restrooms. There are also two shuffle board courts beach side. The bed and sofa could have been more comfortable, but were sufficient. It would have also been nice to have a few throw blankets for the living room. The unit did not have central heat and AC, but they did supply AC units in each room, and a plug in radiator for heat. Towels were limited, but a laundry room was available. Wi-Fi works fine, and there were high-definition TVs in each room, with cable, including sports, HBO, and the Disney channels. The unit also supplied some board games and playing cards. The boardwalk on the beach side behind the property was so convenient, and nicely lit at night! We walked safely down the to the restaurants in the area. We also walked down the boardwalk to the public park for the playground, sand volleyball, and Friday night movie. The public park has a snack bar, or you can bring a cooler. Plenty of places to catch the sunset along the boardwalk. There is a free ride service available if you choose not to rent a car, but you have to schedule well ahead of time. Nearby hotspots, Ricky T's, John's Pass, Sloppy Joes, and Caddy's. Plenty of shopping and restaurant choices at John's Pass, it is about a mile away from Tropic Terrace. We saw a family of dolphins, pelicans, and plenty of other wildlife while there. You can also book a sunset tour or dolphin tour from John's Pass. Near Tropic Terrace, we recommend Super Scoops for ice cream. Brit's has great pizza and calzones. Our unit supplied beach chairs, Beach umbrellas, a small cooler, and beach toys. Overall, we had an amazing week!
