Family St Thomas getaway

Such a blessing to be able stay at this villa! Perfect for families, kids of all ages! Pool so much fun! Views are crazy and proximity 5 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Thank you! Thank you! Highly recommend this property and location. See ya next year!

Great week - nice property

We had a great week - the suites, kitchen, recreation areas were well appointed. Our only slight disappointment was not being able to walk to any beaches- they were close enough but the traffic was way too fast and there is no area to walk. We did a private charter on a catamaran out of red hook (just one mile away) with Stormy Pirates and it was fantastic. The pool area was nice and clean with plenty of lounge chairs. The grill was also a plus.

Beautiful Home and Location

Triton's Overlook is an amazing property. The house was more than big enough for our 8 person family. It was easy to gather in either of the large family rooms or hide away for some alone time by the pool or beach area. The welcome gift of large fruit basket was greatly appreciated. We had hoped to be able to swim and snorkel in the cove but the rocks and waves made this a little challenging. Overall a spectacular home that helped our family have a wonderful experience.

Beautiful villa room for all! Location to other beaches & excursions was easy. Pool was a big hit.. especially after beach days..lots of nighttime swimming.. would definitely recommend to friends & family..

Pictures don't do it justice!

This was such a beautiful home for our group of 9 adults. Everything was perfect! There is tons of space for relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The kitchen was well stocked with everthing we needed for family meals. The pool was a hit! The pool and grounds was spotless. All in all, it was a wonderful stay! Thank you!

50th Wedding Anniversary Family Celebration

The home was perfect for our crew of 9 ranging in age from 3 to 75. It was as advertised. The pool was used early and often. Communications with the owner before our stay and with the property managers during our stay was excellent. St. Thomas, St. John and Triton's Overlook did not disappoint. If we go back to St. Thomas, we'll hope to stay at Triton's Overlook.

Absolutely Fabulous House

Our family of 8 (all adults) stayed for 1 week. House is exactly as described. Beautiful location, great snorkeling, pool & beach area were perfect for hanging out and relaxing. It was a wonderful setting for a family vacation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Awesome St. Thomas trip!

We did a family vacation with kids and grandkids and we couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. There are essentially four levels to the home which creates the ability to create some privacy while at the same time there are large common gathering areas. The bedrooms are all a great size with their own bathrooms and the views are fantastic! The grandkids loved the pool as well as the lagoon where they did some snorkeling. Red Hook was only a five minute drive away and one beach was walkable.We had a minor air conditioning unit leak that we called about and Dave got someone out that day to repair it. Always responsive and great answering any questions and requests.We loved it and wished we could have stayed another week! Highly recommend and hope to return.

Beautiful secluded getaway

Gorgeous home and views of all the islands. Our group of 9 had an amazing stay at Tritons Overlook. Plenty of space for gathering together or looking for a little alone time. Close to Sapphire Beach (beautiful beach and restaurants) and Marina ( Sunshine Charters will pick you up there for excursions) as well as over the hill from Red Hook( great restaurants). House manager was there when needed and we needed for nothing. Don’t delay and book your stay.

Beautiful property

The pictures do not do this property justice. It is so beautiful inside and out. All the high end finishes and decorating was very pleasing to the eye. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. A few of the remote blinds didn’t work which obstructed our view a bit from the kitchen but we did not let that get in our way of having a fabulous time. Best Vacation EVER. There were 10 of us in the main house (8 adults and 2 teenagers) and 1 adult in the guest house master bedroom. There was ample space for us to all sprawl out and do our own thing during the day and regroup in the evenings. The views are simply breathtaking. We had incredible weather all week and took full advantage of the pool, private beach and snorkeling cove. Red Hook offered everything we needed off-property (market, restaurants Etc.) which was convenient. The property managers were very friendly and helpful. We were all sad to see the week come to an end and agreed that this vacation will be hard to beat. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Dream Vacation Repeat

We stayed at this property 10 years ago when it was Villa Maitland. It was spectacular then and is even more beautiful now with all the wonderful updates. My family was so excited to be able to repeat this trip. This was a gift to my adult children this year. This house is perfect for an all adult family. Plenty of room to spread out. We also included a few friends who rented the guest house. I would highly recommend this home. The owner was very responsive during the rental process and the property managers were extremely responsive and knowledgeable about the property. This home and location should be on everyone’s bucket list. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

Fabulous week

We had a wonderful week at Triton’s Overlook. It’s a beautiful, clean, spacious house with so many extras. The large kitchen was perfect for our group of 10 and has everything you would need. We spent lots of time in the pool and on the deck. Several of the kids snorkeled right off the property. The rooms were all clean and spacious, and they all had lovely views of the Caribbean. The theater room was perfect for a family movie night. We were able to take a short walk over to Sapphire Beach for a change of pace. We spent two days exploring the waters around the islands. We snorkeled, hiked, and spent time at Scott beach which has some of the clearest waters I’ve ever seen. The kids did a cliff jump on the other side of Thatch Cay which is the island you can see just north of the house. There were rolling power outages for a few days, but it didn’t affect us since the home has a generator. The property managers were very helpful with any questions we had. If you get the chance, stay here- you won’t regret it!

False Advertising

I searched on VRBO and found the perfect luxury oceanfront property with a pool and HOT TUB. The listing mentioned the property even had a lagoon for the our family to swim in. Upon arrival the property was in a great location but it was not what was listed. The photos of the listing showed a hot tub and there was not one to be found. I didn't make a big deal about it while there because I wanted to enjoy the vacation while being there with my family. My daughter started playing in the lagoon on the first day and got stung by sea urchin. Upon further review of the lagoon, it was full of rusty metal, pipes, and sea urchin everywhere. There is not practical use of the lagoon other than making the view less desirable. Like I said, we were there and I didn't want to spend multiple hours trying to cancel my nonrefundable stay so I just made the most of it. At the end of the trip, I reached out to the host and ask for a small discount (10%) since there was not a hot tub. After some back and forth, the host offered a discount toward a future stay at the property. I explained to them I didn't come to the Virgin Islands often and that I would want a property with a hot tub. I asked for a discount and ultimately got told I was trying to extort money. If a property has photos of a hot tub beside the pool of property, then it should have a hot tub. The host should be willing to discount the property if they are good and honest people. Sometimes I guess money is all that matters.

Amazing

The only slight complaint we had was that sometimes we couldn’t find a family member as the house is enormous! Enormous but very welcoming. We had the best time in this most wonderful home and we thank you for sharing it! From the pool to the kitchen and the announcement that Jaws was starting in the theatre room and the wonderful views it was amazing home to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family. Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful Property

From the spectacular views to the pristine grounds, Triton’s Overlook did not disappoint! The house is huge and very nicely decorated. The property managers were wonderful and very accommodating. We had everything we needed. We look forward to returning someday!
