Each of the three bedrooms has a private entrance so that it is easier to travel with three couples or a family group. Pool house bedroom has a king bed, desk, private double sink bath(optional blow up queen). The Crows next has a queen bed (with optional sealy serta twin pull out), pirvate balcony and ensuite bath. The Coqui Cottage has a queen bedroom (with optional twin), full bath and private balcony.
The house boasts fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living and entertainment room. The kitchen, dining and living room areas cluster around the salt water pool and all open onto the spacious deck for great inside/outside living. Villa Tryst is beautifully appointed down to the original artwork from the owner and owner's friends.

When you fly into St. Thomas you are a short 15 minute drive to the quiet North-shore and your villa. All of the attractions of St. Thomas are minutes away, from the historic city center of Charlotte Amalie to the world famous Megan’s Bay. We are available from booking to arrival day to answer all your questions. We find that Hull Bay is the perfect location to enjoy a relazing vacation with easy access to all of the island's have to offer.. however most guests favorite spot is our back porch!
Did I mention we are waterfront villa with the white sand of Hull Bay at your fingertips! If you want more adventure we have stand up paddle boards , dive gear (and a great reef you can kick out to), kayaks and surfboards for rent in the bay. Good to Know:
~ We are a gated freestanding villa (not a condo) The whole house is rented (3 beds/ 3.5 baths)- we do not rent bedrooms separately. We accept up to 8 guest but please not that is in 3 bedrooms, so it is fine for families with young children to share rooms but the max that can comfortably sleep is 6 adults. (If you need additional space we have the 2 bedroom hideaway below the villa that comfortable sleeps an additional 4 adults with an extra bathroom, kitchenette and living area.)
~ The villa is WATERFRONT and only a short 1-2 minute walk to the beach of Hull Bay. Though you can walk down the rocks there is NO OCEAN entry from the shore infront of the villa. We highly suggest that you enter the ocean from the sandy beach for your own safety.
~ VRBO has issues integrating our listing and sometimes gets the bedroom layout wrong. There are 3 full bedrooms with ensuite baths and their own balcony access. Pool house- King (with optional queen blow up) & Crows Nest (queen with optional pull out twin) & Coqui Cottagage (queen with optional pull out twin)
~A vehicle is highly recommended on island. There is no Uber and taxi's are limited and expensive. Though it is all paved roads to our Villa, many prefer a 4WD car to access some of the more off the beaten track beaches on island.
~The Villa is fully gated and you have access thru the gate into the vehicular gate. You have plenty of space to park up to 3 cars, though the parking spot outside of the gate and in front of the people gate is reserved for the lower level tenant.
~Access/Mobility: Access to the villa and moving about the villa could be an issue for those with mobility issues. There is a set of stairs from the parking area down to the house and then inside the house 2 of the bedrooms (coqui cottage and crows nest) have some stairs going into them. It is possible to back down the gravel drive to the bottom and have no stairs going into the kitchen, pool housebedroom and living room. But to back down the drive you need a 4WD vehicle.
Supplies : On arrival the house will be stocked with household supplies including Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Dish soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bath Soap, Dishwasher and clothes washing Detergent, Garbage Bags neeced for your stay.
Linens & Towels: The beds will each be made up with sheets blankets and pillows. 6 Sets of Bath Towels as well as Beach Towels will be provided. There is back ups of sheets if you need and a washer and dryer in the house if you need to wach during your stay.
Food / Provisioning: To make travel day smoother, we highly recommend you stock the villa in advance of your stay to avoid having to shop on arrival day. There is a northside grocey a 10 minute drive away Moes Fresh Market that has most everything. For a larger selection, Fruit Bowl, Cost U Less, Pueblo are around 15 minutes drive. There are some good provisioning companies on island that can shop and stock your fridge for you prior to your arrival. We send welcome recs in the welcome email right after booking.
Trash: We provide trash pick up service from the bins in at the top of the driveway. You are responsible to remove all trash from the home and deposit it there before departure.
Pool: please follow all pool rules posted which include:
- No children under 16, may swim without direct adult supervision.
- No Diving, Jumping, Rough Play, Running, etc.
- No Food in the pool
- No Glass around the pool.
- Guest Assumes ALL Liability
Weekly Pool Cleaning: There is a pool cleaning company that comes once a week typically Tuesday. They show up and annouce themselves when the come down the drive to clean the pool. By accepting the rental rules you give permission for the pool cleaning person to clean the pool without advance notice.
Landscaping: We have a monthly contract with a landscaping company. They will never go into the house but they may walk around the perimeter of the deck trimming trees. Please be aware of this possibility during your stay.
Wifi Devices and Security Cameras: The houses has smart devices to monitor cistern water levels, extend wifi throughout the house, and monitor the perimeter of the property (gate and front door) for safety. There is no cameras in the house. The wifi is sometimes unreliable but we do have the highest spead available for residential properties.
Music: We have a bluetooth speakers for the kitchen/living and pool areas. This works best if the device is in the kitchen that it is streaming from. Music outdoors should be turned off by 10pm.
No Parties: We are the only villa on our side of the hill, the homes on both sides are long term residents. The neighbors are appreciate peace and quiet past 10pm. If you plan on a relaxing low key weekend then this is the house for you, but if you want to have a raucous party weekend please consider somewhere else. Noise complaints from neighbors or evidence of parties will result in termination of the reservation, as well as a mandatory $1000 fine.
