This could be a nice hotel but staff aren't very welcoming or knowledgeable. Filthy mattress covering, curtains in restaurant at breakfast all stained and dirty, 40 minute wait after ordering breakfast just not good enough

Safety of travellers not a concern for this hotel
I arrived and got told I hadn’t paid. So after spending 15 minutes proving I had paid all they said was ‘the company haven’t sent the details across’ so I didn’t get my 20% off food/drink either. The room was basic but thought it would be ok for the night - I was wrong. I had a drunk person with 2 other people trying to enter my room, scaring me so much that I was petrified. The reception had given them a key to get into my room - no health and safety considerations given to single female travellers staying with them. I tried calling the reception number and there was no answer so I sent them an email to which I got a very poor reply - I was literally shaking and they did nothing to make sure I was safe. I will be taking this further when I return to the country. Then after not sleeping because I was worried someone else would come into the room, I checked out to be told I had to pay a bar bill - seriously! I ate in the restaurant, paid by cash (with receipt) and then went to the room - look at the drunk who the hotel gave access to my room - I’m not paying for someone else’s mistake - the gentleman on reception made me feel like I was lying too which wasn’t a pleasant experience. I don’t think I would ever stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone after the way I was treated
