The perfect choice for a couple or small family, Red Kite Cottage offers cosy, comfortable accommodation in a lovely rural location. Red Kite Cottage is a sweet little limestone, terraced cottage in rural Northamptonshire. The property is just minutes away from the sensational and historic town of Stamford, a popular location for the filming of a number of TV shows, including an adaptation of George Eliot’s ’Middlemarch’. With a wonderfully cosy open fire, large enclosed garden, and all the creature comforts you could want, you are well catered for whatever time of year you choose to visit. This lovely little house is dog friendly and has a footpath that passes directly outside, taking you out across the local fields where you can enjoy the peace and quiet or spot the local wildlife. On the first floor are two comfortable bedrooms, comprised of two double bedrooms, and a well equipped bathroom. Red Kite Cottage is the perfect choice for a couple or a small family looking for a restful stay in the country. Red Kite Cottage is neighbours with Jack’s Cottage UK13629. There is a gate connecting the gardens so the properties could be booked at the same time for larger groups, or parties. Shop an easy walk in the village of Easton on the Hill, two excellent pubs, the Exeter Arms and the Bluebell inn pub. Both have restaurants and good food.

Would not stay here again

Front door is 5 yards from busy A43. Contacted owner for key code Friday am for Friday stay did not reply till 14.21 Sunday. Builders next door Hammering just after 7 Saturday and Monday. Cover on front bed filthy. Toilet seat not attached correctly. No logs provided for log burner or tools. Welcome pack not as advertised no wine no milk no eggs no crisps small loaf. Outside area no parasols cushions left outside dirty and cigarette burn, and a broken chair. Broken glass in cupboard. Very noisy with road noise. Someone else's shoes in bottom drawer of chest on landing. Took photos of all these issues. Would not stay here again was not worth the money I paid. Got the key code by ringing cottages.com who said they provide code 2 weeks before stay. But Vrbo never pass it on.
