「The location is really close to restaurants and shopping as well as a beautiful Gull Lake view. We gave 3 stars for communication because when we checked in around 6 pm we had a few questions so we texted and called without response. We did get a great response after our stay from the manager who said they would address the issue immediately. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!」

「The owner is the BEST and is great with any and all communication, proactively let us know all details for checking in and checking out. The cabin is exceptional. Very clean and cozy. There are board games and plenty of extra towels. We were able to use 2 kayaks there with lifejackets and toodle around the lake that is right next to the cabin. 「If you are looking for a place to connect with nature - this is it! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Easy access to the bike trail (across road) and we made our way to Zorbas for a picnic lunch and even a few drinks for grandma and Grandpa. Dock and water toys were wonderful would have enjoyed even more with some chairs. Only unexpected part of the property was the trolley to the water but definitely appreciated it as it was the only option to get to the dock. Michael was super to work with...

「The cabin was spacious with the 2 lofts and large kitchen/dining area plus 4 other bedrooms. Lots of outdoor space between the deck, the yard and the dock!!! Very comfortable for 12 of us. Clean, well supplied and owner was very responsive and emailed all info before hand. Would book again!」

「We had such a wonderful time staying at the Hackensack House. Jill and Jim were wonderful to work with and very prompt to our needs. Our family time was greatly enjoyed because the house had everything and was within walking distance to the cozy downtown and great fishing.」

「Only complaint was north hotels shower doesn’t have enough shelves for your products while in the shower. Tv is not a smart tv and you cannot stream Netflix etc. No balcony on 2nd floor of north hotel. Mini fridge could be bigger. Over all all amenities were amazing. Location amazing.
