The Penn State decor is unique and fun. The location is good, right on the edge of campus and town. I did not like the "resort" fee charged at the end of the stay. This is nothing but an added tax with absolutely no benefit to the guest.

This hotel is very convenient to Penn State. We have stayed at other Graduate hotels, and this one was by far the shabbiest. Elevators were hit or miss (there are instructions in the elevator on what to do if it gets stuck between two floors). The lobby furniture was very worn and there were tears in the wallpaper and the carpets were frayed. We stayed in a suite, it was the perfect size for the four of us. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

A huge group of bikers moved in our second day here. At least 70 of the,, all the bikes were parked in the front driveway causing noise, gas smells, bikers hanging out everywhere. The hotel should have done a better job of having the bikers store their bikes in the garage. Otherwise hotel was nice. Has a bar, huge Penn State theme. Would probably stay at the Hyatt next time. Quieter, closer to town.
