“The property is an historical building decorated in a sympathetic way. The grounds were lovely and you could sit out if you wanted to. The bedroom was large but the over bath shower was a bit tricky and needed a hand rail to safely get in and out. Breakfast was simple, croissants, bread, jam and a few bits of cheese. ”

“I liked everything. This was a one night stay on the way to somewhere else. It is extremely quiet at night, the staff is super friendly and the breakfast is a dream. Also, it is a beautiful place. ”

“We wish we had discovered this place years ago as we have been making this trip 2 or 3 times a year using a hotel near Lille. This charming house is so much better and the welcome from the charming Marie-Odile was lovely. So much care has gone into the preparation of the accommodation and the breakfast, largely using home-grown items, was exceptional. I am sure we shall find a reason to come here again.”

“Everything was perfect! David was a very welcoming host, even though we arrived after 9pm. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and spacious and very clean with bottled water and amenities. David laid on the nicest breakfast of warm croissants, warm bread, cheeses, jams, yoghurt and honey, and also supplied is plenty of milk and cocoa for hot chocolate. The cats and dogs at the property are adorable and all in all, it was a very relaxed overnight stay. Merci, David et Cecile.”

“ I stayed here with my teenage sons, the hotel was easy to reach by car and there was parking on site. The hotel was quiet and safe, staff were very pleasant and customer focused. Beds were very comfortable, we had a great walk around the lake that was behind the property. Rooms very clean and welcoming. Was easy to reach the War memorial from the hotel. Would stay here again and would recommend it.”

“Can’t begin to describe what a great stay this is. A real experience, if you are doing the battlefields, then staying or visiting here is a must. Comfy beds, great facilities and good breakfast. Loft chapel is probably the nicest chapel or church I have ever seen mainly because of the emotion involved. Thoroughly recommend. ”

“Nydelig B&B på landet i rolige omgivelser! Hyggelig familiedrevet sted med bra fasiliteter og veldig bra service. Flott område utendørs som er perfekt for barn, også litt eldre. Trampoline ble flittig brukt, og dyrene på gården besøkt. Vi fikk også være med å mate dyrene, og bli med på en rundtur på gården. Veldig flott! Nydelig 3-retters middag ankomstdagen og god frokost før vi dro. Stort familierom med god plass og eget bad og wc. Anbefales!”

“Staff were very helpful - we arrived late and the person on reception kept the entrance unlocked until we arrived, answered all our queries and was very friendly and helpful. Room was sparce but very spacious.”
