Great House by Palisade State Park

We had the greatest time as a family. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfy,and the view is fantastic. We could hear the river from the deck. The kids had a great time playing on the swing and playing in the yard. It feels like you are in the mountains but there are many conveniences close by. We will come back.

Wonderful family reunion week

This is a beautiful cabin in a terrific setting. Lots to do in and around Palisades State Park. The cabin and accommodations were spectacular. It was luxury living for us for the week. The website states 6 parking stalls, we were able to fit more by parking two cars deep. It also states sleeps 17, we had more, as they accommodated more beds on pull out couches. Everything was in working order and was in perfect condition for us. We'd love to go back again.

When we showed up to the house it was breath taking, the house itself and the view. We unfortunately were there for a funeral so we did not have any time to really spend in the cabin except to go to sleep. We had loved the house and were very comfortable. The only down side is, when we got there, there was a dead mouse in the pantry and was stuck to the floor...and there was another mouse running around the house. Definitely need more mouse traps. We would stay here again though! Very clean and the host answered any questions we had! Thank you!

This was the perfect spot for a group get away. The peace and quiet was amazing. Sitting on the back deck was one of my favorite parts. Enjoyed watching the wildlife each morning and night and was an easy drive to palisades park. Would definitely stay there again.

Favorite Family Getaway

This property was excellent in every way! The cabin was perfectly clean and stocked with all needed necessities (towels, dish soap, laundry soap, dishes, etc.). Stunning views from two decks and a patio. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Beautifully furnished! We loved our stay and will stay again! Our getaway could not have been better!

Wonderful cabin had a great stay with our family. We have been coming to palisades for 10 years but is so difficult to get reservation in the campground when we saw this listing we thought we’d give it a try snd it didn’t disappoint. This may be our go to place for our families June adventure. Thanks for sharing your place with us

Our stay in this wonderful house was great, except for the mechanical issues with the A/C. Celestia was able to talk us through some possible solutions, and ended up sending a repairman, but unfortunately a repair could not happen during our stay.

My review

This was an amazing home however lots of dust throughout the house . The ceiling fans were caked with dust which resulted in sinus and congestion for all of us. Each morning we woke up feeling like we could not breath because we were all stuffed up. Could possibly be the air filters as well. Other than this issue the house was amazing.

Amazing weekend

We booked 4 days for my husbands birthday weekend at this cabin and had an amazing time. It was clean, roomy, and perfect for our family getaway to unplug and connect. The host was amazing to work with and we were close to Palisades for water and fishing activities as well as hiking and riding our UTVs. It was perfect in every way. We will definitely book again.
