Sehr zentrale Lage, großes Zimmer, sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und gibt gerne Auskünfte. Gleich nebenan ist das Gefängnis Museum. Absolut sehenswert. Parken kostet bei Buchungen über Drittanbieter 10€ am Tag. Unbedingt am CheckIn auch das Auto einchecken, sonst kostet es wohl Strafe. Das Frühstück ist ok, für den Preis kann man aber auch in den umliegenden Cafés etc. sehr gut frühstücken. Schade war, dass der Pool nochmal extra gekostet hätte. Daher haben wir diesen nicht genutzt und können den Wellnessbereich daher nicht bewerten.

The charm of an old school with modern conveniences. There was a surprising number of stairs involved in getting to the reception desk. That being said, there is a lift after a short climb.The location was perfect being on the main st leading to the castle, jail and church of the holy dude, all accessed with a 5 to 10 min walk. Great breakfast choices. Having a bathtub to sit in, heavenly.

The room was in need of a full refurbishment. There were cobwebs on the windows, mirror smeary, paintwork chipped and scuffed also the furniture the same. The bed was linked and uncomfortable, the pillows were hard. Clearly hadn't been cleaned from previous occupants as an apple was under a chair. The bathroom was stained, tiles cracked and the grout grimy. On a positive note, the breakfast was tasty but could have been hotter.

Slightly disappointed as we stayed there 25 years ago and it is not as luxurious as it was then. It's starting to look at little worn. Having said that, the service was good, breakfast was reasonable and the room was a good size. The price was definitely reasonable, too. We didn't take our car this time but, if we had, we would have been charged £10 a day for parking as we booked through a third party.

They didn’t have vegetarian sausages for breakfast however we return there many times and that was the first time they didn’t. Scrambled eggs were not good. Normally treat our dog like a wee princess but this time forgot her bed bowl and treats. Got sorted out with management and was very happy with the customer service. All the staff were lovely and will definitely be back again for the 10th stay. Really grateful

The staff at Stirling was amazing. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and kind. I want to give shoutouts to Ana, Cara, Amalee, and Declan in the restaurant.Their personal touches made our dinners memorable. Cameron, Bryony, and Joseph (aka a young Gerard Butler) were welcoming and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. The atmosphere of the hotel matched the surrounding neighborhood. It is just a short drive to the castle and a short walk to city shops. We loved Stirling!

We really enjoyed our time here. We didn’t realize when we booked here that they accept dogs and we really enjoyed meeting everyone’s pups! The staff was friendly and helpful and the pool and hottub were a huge bonus after walking a million steps a day up hill. The building is really unique and picturesque and we would definitely stay here again.

The location was great for seeing the castle and the old town. The decor is tired and could use a little attention. The breakfast was okay. They could use an additional coffee machine as the wait for a cup of coffee was quite long.
