The proper owners were very polite and willing to share all that they have to offer. The stay was very peaceful and warm. It Made us Feel like weWere visiting our grandma. We are definitely going to stay there again. We feel like we have made new Friends at the peaceful paradise.”

“I'm a local who chose this property for a "staycation" and I will definitely come back! Our room was spacious, clean, and had fun additions like a working type writer and record player. We were a five minute walk from Ice Blocks and parking was no problem. The host Barbara has lots of adorable Frenchies and is super fun to talk to- had a great breakfast with her! I would definitely recommend this to locals and tourists. LGBTQ friendly as well. Thank you!!”

“This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. The town itself is a lovely reminder of what the Gold Country was like in the late 1800s with lots of old buildings along a main street. The hotel sits in the middle of the town and looks just like it must……
