「Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!」

「Very close to Rutland water. Loads to do at Rutland. Rural location only accessable by car. The owner kindly let us charge the car at the house (we worked out and paid for the electricity used). I was pleased to find there is a freezer in the kitchen. There were lots of kitchen utensils which made cooking easy.」

「We were all looking forward to our short Christmas break and we were not disappointed.. The cottage was easy to find and we had early access. The heating was on and everything looked cosy. 「The cottage is situated in a peaceful rural environment yet just a minute or two's drive from the A52 with easy access to Grantham, Nottingham and beyond. The cottage itself is spacious and homely with every facility you could wish for. We loved it. Lynn has thought of everything and likes to communicate personally to ensure her guests are fully briefed about the cottage, its history and the local area. Fabulous!」
