The cottage is perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway. Great spot if you want to have a jumping off point to explore the area. Would definitely stay again.”

“A perfect getaway retreat! Gorgeous grounds with garden, firepit with adirondack chairs, flowers and tree-li ed view as far as the eye can see from upper and lower decks equipped with seating, umbrella shade and dining area with bbq grill. All the comforts of home--and that's before you enter!! The home is very clean, bright with A-frame windows in the family room Updated kitchen and fine wood flooring as well as beautiful bathrooms. Downstairs bedrooms were small but had very comfortable……

“From beginning to end a pleasant stay. Owner was on contact to make sure everything was in order. Fresh cut flowers, plenty of clean white fluffy towels, comfortable bedding and the view through sparkling clear windows. What a wonderful way to spend the mother's day weekend with my daughter and spend some time outdoors exploring little Hudson river towns. 10 thumbs up!!!!”

“The house is secluded and peaceful with a huge deck for a cool breeze with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The house was spotless and well equipped with anything you could possibly need. Restaurants, grocery, and Katterskill Falls for hiking all within a 15-20 minute drive. Our host, Nick, was very attentive making sure everything was as we expected ( and it was). Would stay here again if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend this property for your vacation getaway.”

“I came to take a private retreat “away from it all” and was delighted in all ways by my stay. Bob is a cordial and caring host. The cottage was impeccably clean, updated and well stocked with all little touches from coffee to brew, creamers and condiments, soft and comfortable towels, blankets and sheets (I only mention because of their comfort). The place was cozy and well arranged. Nice screened in front porch and chairs and fire pit by the Esopous Creek… a few feet from the cottage. Location……

The house is wonderful with a fun separate hang out place for the kids. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Hot tub with wonderful views. All the firewood you could ever need. The room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. There were plenty of options for eating around the immediate area.
