“The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden……

“What an amazing experience! I would recommend anyone doing this. The boat is just the right size for 2 people wanting to get away, relax and enjoy all that Maine has to offer! The Marina staff are wonderful as well! There are pots for lobsters, clams and even crabs that they let you use along with grills as well! Being from Maine, I can tell you this was an experience of a lifetime!”

“Beautiful home in a peaceful location a bit back in the woods away from the main road. Daily visit from a local doe and my daughter even saw a fox. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Easy check-in and the home has everything you would need. Bedrooms were comfortable and shower water pressure and heat was great. Strong WiFi signal. And communication with the owner was always quick and easy. Highly recommend! ”

“First off, Eric our host was great! As a VRBO host myself I’ve learned some great ideas! Second, the location worked perfectly. At first it seemed isolated but it was refreshingly quiet and cozy. We were just minutes away to a Ferry that was important to us meeting up with family. Grocery was near by, SW Harbor for restaurants and shopping. I also recommend NE Harbor and the Nor’easter for fresh seafood at reasonable prices. The also hiked in Acadia just a short walk away which was a fabulous……

“Had everything we needed for a family of 5. Views were nice for breakfast and sunset. Saw deer wondering through the back yard a couple of times. Heard the seals in the evening. Private. Most everything we did around Acadia was under 30 minutes from the house. Only negative in July is that the owners requested that air-conditioning be turned off when not home. Upstairs was 78-81 when we got back in the evenings. Took a while for the upstairs to cool back down for bed. Overall would stay again.”

“Absolutely love this place; very clean and exactly what everyone wrote on the reviews! Loved the beach loved the store beneath us with the pizza and subs. All the amenities in this VRBO were the best I've ever ever seen. Definetly will come back and stay here if we're in the area again thank you so much for everything, including the nice cooler bag that we took everywhere”

“Fantastic house on a nice secluded side of the island. House was the perfect home base for all Acadia activities. The pool after a long day was a great way to wind down.”

“Sparkling clean and very spacious with gorgeous waterfront view. We were in Driftwood. We appreciated the amenities provided, the clear instructions on check in and out as well as the tips provided. There are wonderful breakfast options nearby and while we spent most of our time in Bar Harbor and Acadia, we appreciated being away from a busy downtown. Just note that from the more popular Acadia attractions, this is about a 20 min drive. Road noise wasn't too bad, we used the fans and ran the AC……
